  1. the hand isn't that sick, its just a ten outter getting there, the amount of money they are playing for is absolutely filthy though.
  2. anyone have the torrent for this episode? if anyone knows where i can find the download that would be sweet
  3. there would need to be some big names at that table for me to care. If brunson or daniel or someone makes it, i'd definitly watch.
  4. the largest i've ever had is 2700, that was playing three handed 5-10 on bodog, i tripled up when i hit a set against a overpair and two pair.i once had a stack of 1300 playing 1-2 in a very short time span, where there was a five way all in on a all club flop.
  5. i remember seeing ivey hit back to back two outters on prahlaid for stacks, where prahliad had sets adn ivey had overpairs. after hitting them ivey just wrote, i know its sick. lol.
  6. yeah see thats the other thing that makes his Bankrool questionably low is that i've only seen him play 5/10, 10/20 at the highest.i really just understand why he wouldn't play 100/200 if he is really that good at no limit holdem.
  7. i do remember him pushing in with j8 suited only to get called by an a-3 of furlong in 1999 and thats how he was eliminated.on the circuit they mentioned that he is a big advocate of small pot poker, which confuses me a little becuase i always hear about how aggresive he is.
  8. thats the other thing, i didn't include in my original post, (becuase it was mainly a rumor), and that is, that Huck doesn't play as high as people would assume givin his skill level at holdem.but i honestly have no idea of what he regularly plays or his financial situation.its kinda wierd that someone as highly regarded as him would play as low as he might or might not play.
  9. i stand corrected i did see him there as well.
  10. i noticed how Daniel put Huck Seed amongst the top no limit holdem players in the world. Does anyone know where i can find the video of him winning it in 96?besides the US poker championship in AC,I dont think i've ever seen Huck play on TV, is there any other final tables he made?
  11. lol, yeah, i thought this would be a more reliable source.
  12. I was just wondering who plays in the big game most often, from daniels blog it seems that Eli, Min, and the bear play pretty frequently. The main reason i'm curious is cause i was just reading on wikepedia that they say chip reese doesn't play as often these days and gets most of his income from sports betting.
  13. little too much money in there to not call on the end to one big bet. true the ten killed you probably, but you can still beat enough hands that the call is justified.
  14. oh i think i understnad him running it twice for half the pot each time, i guess that would actually give him an edge. but either way he was crushed.
  15. I ran this in scenario in the cardplayer odds calculater and it said AA77 double suited was in fact the favorite with 31.28% win chance, against 30.86% win chance with AA55.was daniel kidding about when he said "Don't believe me? Try running the two hands heads up. Sure the 77 will beat the 55 if they BOTH flop a set, but I have the added win of the 2-3-4 straight. That is MUCH more likely to happen than set over set."Also i'm completely confused over why he ran it twice if he just had two backdoor flush draws, I dont know how he was anywhere near even money with that? especially against a set
  16. I dont use a time limit at all cause if i'm winning or i have gotten unlucky in a few pots i wont stop, especially if i have nothing to do besides play.I will stop playing when i get sleepy, i may be unique in this manner in that its very noticable to me when i'm starting to get sleepy, if i'm getting noticabley tired between hands i just stop right there.I'd like to say that if i'm playing bad i stop playing but honestly i dont do that.guidlines for quitting for me are if i'm tired, and if i'm off my game. and i know i'm off my game if i start to have higher expectations for hitting flops an
  17. Ok, lets assume someone raises from up front and you assume they have a big pair.you hold 56 soooted.what are youre odds of floping a profitable situation such as, a full boat, a straight, a flush, three of a kind, two piar, a open ended straight draw and a flush draw(almost even ), a flush draw and gutshot(not a favorite).I'd like to know the odds of hitting any of those favorable flops. I mean is it 12-1, 15-1,? i have no clue.In a situation like this i'm also assuming that in order to continue the hand after the flop you must be in a even money or profitable situation on the flop, i know
  18. i dont have gsn where are you guys downloading these episodes?
  19. has anyone played in this event? its at poker stars, i'm curious as to know how much play you get for you entry, i wanna start playing some more tournaments, but i haven't been able to find a site that has larger buy in tournaments that you also get room to play.so if anyone knows of any good sites for big tournaments, or if anyone played in the WCOOP lemme know what you though of it
  20. you guys got too much time on your hands.
  21. i've been watching the world series on TV and Phil Ivey has this shirt that has a g but a line threw it so it looks like a e too.i was just wondering what company makes that shirt cause its my initials.
  22. aight if anyone knows his SN for other sites, i'm interested in watching him play. thanks.
  23. i'm reffering to the limit holdem whiz kid, anyone know'?
  24. is playing a low limit live game in atlantic city about the same as playing a low limit game online?I've been told playing live low limit games there are comparable to the sickos on the internet that call with nothing.so whats teh best strategy here? i'm goin got hte taj later, should i play super tight and just try not to ever bluff.i'll be playing 2/5 prolly.
  25. "Most TV tournaments allow approximately 12-15 hands to be dealt per hour"its gotta be more then that even for those slow rolling chumps on the world poker tour.
