  1. Uggg tough hand. River seems like a good value bet, but mainly concerned with pre-flop and flop action. I think we should be 3 betting this hand pre, despite the SB calling. Do you know how often SB will c/r flops with weak holdings? xxy flops are always pretty standard to attempt to steal from a pf raiser, so does it look he is doing this with overcards that aren't spades very often? I'll let someone that is better at crunching numbers come up with a decent range but I think flop has to be either 3-bet or fold. I can't see calling ever being a good play here.
  2. He is THE reason I got into hip-hop at all. I had just always dismissed it as what MTV and BET showed and dissmised most of it as being unoriginal. Then I heard Internal Affairs and was just blown away. Seriously the best modern hip-hop album.

  5. Yeah they did extend the story line too much to get you to buy more comics which was lame (I did always enjoy Excalibur simply because Nightcrawler was always my favorite mutant), but I think the real triumph of AOA was showing Magneto as more complex than just a simple villian. He did not want to kill all humans (like he did in Ultimate X-men, which really turned me off from pursuing the series any further), he just wanted freedom for his people. He wanted revolution in Earth-616, he still had a sense of morals which was shown in the AOA universe because he was fighting against the real evi
  6. I completely agree AOA, very similar to storylines like days of future past are incredible fun to read. Marvel 1602 is the most recent re-telling story that I enjoyed. What really turned me off from X-Men was the Onslaught saga, which really disapointed me when it turned out that Onslaught was just the "evil" side of Professor X. That's when I began reading comics like Stray Bullets, which I reccomend everyone to check out.

  9. MusicGaragepunk podcast- plenty of different shows that all come from the same server. Hit and miss but mostly good stuff, I don't have time to listen to everyone each week because there are so many but you are bound to find at least a couple of shows you like if you like garage/punk/rock'n'roll type stuffMaximum rock'n'roll radio-They started doing this show a few years ago for the first time since the early 90's I believe. One of the best places to find new punk/hardcore bands and they will still play a few classics from time to time too.Nocore- Plays lots of experimental noise/no-wave typ
  10. Was this that unknown guy at the first table? I think since we raised the flop turn has to be a bet/fold. Not sure what to do on river if he calls the turn though.
  11. Just take your AIM name off of your profile.
  12. No point in trying. If you didn't start listening to them when you were 13 and hated your parents, I can't see how you would like them. Not knocking it at all, but I just hardly ever find my self listening to NIN at all anymore.
  13. I agree to an extent, like if she had just hit a ground ball and colapsed I would have no problem with tagging her out, but she hit a home-run and the other team could have limited her advancement of the bases by a technicality, where is the victory in that?Edit: Tim I think your analogy about the HR at the bottom of the 15th is incorrect, they most likely do not count the it as HR because the winning run is scored so the HR is actually not needed, therefore it should not count in the stats because they do not finish the inning if the home team is winning, therefore Ventura was not awarde an o
  14. That was actually awesome. Mainly having Dr. Teeth as Ving Rhames, and that other dude from the electric mayhem as the guy who ran the bar. I didn't even like it so much on the humor level as much as I thought it was badass to have muppets with guns.
  15. Public figures make me laugh for some reason, Ann Coulter, Glen Beck, Al Sharpton, anytime a celebrity has something to say about political/enviormental issues.
  16. How much do you think it will effect the softness of the games given that they are not on the main tourney menu page?
  17. I really enjoy watching and reading about good plays that didn't work than good plays that did work. It makes me think about the hand so much more than just going "See he folded good play". Just throwing that out there.
  18. Back in the days when I was a TeenagerBefore I had status before I had a pagerI used to sit around listening to hip-hopMy pops said it reminded him of be-bopI said "Dad don't you know that things go in cycles"I think that's right, I can't remember the rest.
  19. I was just worried that it might kick me off right away.
  20. What happens if I don't type it in? I keep tables at mini-size so I most likely won't notice it from time to time.
