True, but the information you gain from a raise in NL is much more valuable than in limit. So if he has AA/KK/set, you can get away from your hand much easier.

I think your fold is correct, but I wonder if calling the initial flop raise with the intent of check/raising or donking the turn would be better. Draws tend to play fast on the flop, but will slow down no the turn.

I like a call too vs a player that can correctly put you on overs.

I think 1 is fine.Hand 2 is a little different. I wuold expect most players to make smallish reraises with aces or kings. Also, if this occured after you tabled the fold in the first hand, he could be making a play. I probably push here.I can't find a fold in hand 2. I think it is likely that he has a smaller pair or some kind of draw.

This reminds me a lot of a passage I read from 'fooled by randomnes'. It talks about how if someone playing the stock market watches their daily rates, they will go crazy. Apparently the -ve swings effect or minds a lot more than the +ve ones.
