Well I relize it wasnt the shove that was great but the reason I shoved I feel was the right play. I had a bad player table image and they all thought of me as suckass so I picked up a hand after winning a pot with a not so good hand and wanted to force a call with a marginal hand by putting the pressure on mainly the person who raised with 200.

With a BR of 20 stick with .10 .25 NLHE cash games, stay away from sngs as they are more luck based then cash. Once you hit 1k then you can play .25 .50. Seems like its a long time away but if your not able to manage that little bit what makes you think you would be able to manage getting to 2k

9 handed vs 6 handed. 9 handed is way way better, The ammount of chips in play, the ammount of bad players in play It all can add up to a significant advantage if you are the better player of the lot. You get more time to make decisions. Less pressure to play certain hands and not to mention the pay out is 1 extra. In 6 handed there is always pressure on every hand because everyone is always very agressive in the 6 handeds and only 1 and 2 pays out.

Just dont get involved without good hands when hes involved is what I would suggest, and when you do get hands play it scared and set traps, induce him to bluff you all in or if he dosnt raise back then just put pressure on him by playing big pot poker.
