  1. Not sure where this goes, please move as neededIn a conversation not about the WPT Lawsuit, but about the Online Poker issue, this came up:FossilMan: no Lakers, that is not the problem at allFossilMan: it is a morality issue; fueled mostly by republicans trying to make the conservative christians happyAArdvark42 [observer]: the best solution, not "PC", is to legalize it and let US casinos in the game...make them repertFossilMan: as a lawyer who used to work for a big company, I can promise you, without knowing anything on the inside at PS, that there is little chance they would ever follow yo

  4. For some reason I haven't been able to connect to FTP for about a week. I just tried to download FCP and for some reason it says I can't connect to their server... any suggestions?
  5. His wife Angela has apparently failed to keep him up on his blog since the rebirth of it. She actually posted the last blog on there. I'm kinda suprised he didn't make a note about the release of STACKED. As far as poker goes, he's doing well, with the Calvin Ayre Wild Card 500k win and (I think) a 3rd place finish at some big tournament (can't remember the name for anything). I just never thought of him as an internet savvy person, but I liked his blog when he kept up on it. I was also one of the apparent few who signed up for his poker lessons last year, man I couldn't believe he cancelled t

  8. I'll rail yaDefinately a good way to represent FCP, best of luck.
  9. Does anyone know where I can find the results from Elimination Matches #7-12 and 19? I've looked for torrents and those are the only ones missing. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

    how old are you?

19, been playing (and winning) at poker for 6 years. I have a decent roll of about $600 but just got a bank account and deposited into Party Poker. Doubled my initial deposit in about 2 hours.
  12. Hey, congrats on 56th. Lasted longer than 64% of the others... Just a quick question about yoru last hand... Why go all-in with J-4 with half the table left to act?
  13. I definately liked it, reading wise anyways. Depending on the betting post flop, I really can't see why the K9 would stay in with top pair. There are way too many hands that could beat him. He had no draws to the flush or straight and I just would not have continued unless everyone was checking. I am glad the guy with the straight flush was paid off, far too many times have I held a monster and not been paid off when no one catches a decent hand.
  14. I believe I can solve this problem. Amounts of money means different things to different people. I can understand that if you are grinding out a living at poker, you don't want to give away the money you earn since the rake can be harsh. I look at their situation as a person who is looking to hold onto it because they need it. I can also see the recreational player where they can win or lose and it doesn't affect their ability to pay bills in everyday life. The grinder aspect is a very good argument, and the recreational player has one just as good. Bottom line? Tipping should be (and is) left
