  5. It makes all the pain and frustration in life just disappear. No one liked my feedback idea?
  6. When you do a successful transfer with someone, leave a comment in their profile. That way when they do transfers in the future with other people those people can have trust that the transfer will go through. Works like feedback on ebay.
  7. This is all just a long disguised brag post, isn't it?
  8. This is all HU? Waaay too volatile for me. What's your SD/100?
  9. Good laydown by the button. He knew his aces weren't good.
  10. You need to edit your post a little, as is what you did is obvious.EDIT: By the way, I agree with RAC.

  14. How realistic were the hands? Hopefully not as absurd as the hands in Casino Royale.Does anyone remember the (horrible) movie Maverick with Mel Gibson? The end, when he somehow wills his draw card to be the winning ace of spades - If I had been the director I would have made that card the 9 of spades.
  15. Not sure how many of you have seen this yet. Info here:http://www.pokerstars.com/poker/promotions...hands/?utm_id=4Looks like some pretty sweet stuff.
  16. I have yet to have an unpleasant experience dealing FTP support, although I have heard the horror stories. I've found them to be very professional. At the same time, the degree to which Stars support goes above and beyond what is required of customer service never ceases to amaze me.
  17. I raise the flop here. With the near pot size bet I'm figuring if I call he's just going to throw another pot size bet on any turn. We need to get a little information about what we're looking at and hopefully get a chance to take the action away from him. I probably pop him to ~$100 here and see what he does.As played, when he bets 80 into 114 on the turn we're totally clueless. Were you willing to call here and then fold to a push on an unimproved river or would you call a third bullet if he fired? I just think you're leaving yourself too much in the dark here.
  18. How different is AF going to be between 6-handed and FR NL games?
  19. I was thinking about but this, but those 3's and 4's out of the deck really kill our chances of backing into a decent low. Both villains are at least calling the extra 1/2 bet. Too many weird, bad things going on here so I'm just getting out of the way.
  20. You did play this a little passively, but really it's not much of a hand to dwell over. The thing with quads is that it's not worth wasting brain space thinking about how to maximize earn when they come along. It happens really infrequently, and it's hard to find board combinations where you can make quads and someone else will have hand good enough to pay you off with.By the way, at 25NL and below I almost always lead out with trips on the flop. A lot of players aren't really thinking about what you have and there are others who "expect" that everyone will slow play trips on the flop. Slo
  21. I usually 3 or 4-table for about 30-45 minutes, take a break and then do it again. I'm too beat after work to focus for any longer than that at a time. Next month when I'm not working I'll probably try to mix in some multiple hour sessions. +9 buyins in one session is sick at any level, nice work. I think my best is like $10 -> $35
  22. Alright this marks exactly one full month from the time I started my micro challenge. This is 90% $10NL with a few hundred hands of $25NL mixed in. Overall I'm running at 9.8 ptbb/100. Definitely not a bad start, but I'd like to see this last over a sample 5X this large.
  23. I tried to join his group last fall but he never answered my PM Maybe since I'm moving to LA this fall I'll start stalking him, unbeknownst to him of course.
  24. By the way, having interviewed for a fair number of jobs in finance I can tell you that all they really care about is that you aren't a moron and that you're ok with the fact that they are about to work you to the bone and suck out your soul and everything that makes you a person. But no, I'm not bitter or anything.
