  1. Actually the money has very very little to do with this post, the substantial $11.40 profit I made was nothing compared to the joy of coming back off the carpet like that. I noticed a post today by WaLdOrFiAn concerning his comeback, and while his payout was substantially higher, I bet he feels likehe's won a million bucks.
  2. Couldn't justify putting this in tournament or strategy, but i just had to post it somewhere, flame away.....PokerStars Game #6275062072: Tournament #31825973, $3.00+$0.40 Hold'em No Limit - Level VII (100/200) - 2006/09/13 - 19:13:15 (ET)Table '31825973 1' 10-max Seat #6 is the buttonSeat 3: o21BlackJack (1170 in chips) Seat 4: tgifitz (105 in chips) Seat 6: kenthegreat (3320 in chips) Seat 7: dmf3340 (6615 in chips) Seat 8: bigloss1 (3790 in chips) o21BlackJack: posts the ante 25tgifitz: posts the ante 25kenthegreat: posts the ante 25dmf3340: posts the ante 25bigloss1: posts the ante 25dmf33

  4. played with Chris for a couple of hours in the tourney, impressive showing with a short stack for the entire third hour of the tourney.....gl man I'm watching.
  5. I'm from Canada also, and I think that your comments are so outrageous, that you should be deported to the States and forced to listen to every speech Bush has ever made. Bush may not be the sharpest knife in the drawer but you are an idiot.
  6. Daniel Pelletier or Daniel Negreanu.............Team Canada
  7. Good luck with your efforts, but my guess is that Mr. Pollack will look at the WPA as some sort of "union", with a mandated goal of protecting the players. Large corporations are reluctant to deal with "unions" unless forced. It seems to me that some sort of Poker Association would be superior to having a players advisory panel, however, given the representation of poker players at present, it would seem to me that any improvment can only be a good thing.Don't stop pushing for your own interests but please be prepared for a lengthy process.
  8. Hmmmm,There is not one soul on this planet who owes anybody anything or was put on this earth to do anything they dont want to do. If DN wants to shoot golf and tell the world about it, fine. If he wants to play poker and tell us about it, fine. If he wants to shoot craps and tell us about it, fine. I will watch the blogs for what I want to see and ignore anything I dont particularly care about. If you don't like the site or Daniel's golf score, plenty of other places to post.We are truly only here for a short time, so if you have the ability to live life the way you want to, then go for it.
  9. looks like flack attack best stay out of the harrahs properties.

  12. If you look at the day Daniel was at the tv table last year, I think he played stellar. About 99.99999% of humanity would have gone broke a lot earlier than he actually did. He was just card dead, and whats worse, card dead with second best cards. He had a pretty good read of the table from the hands they showed but absolutely no luck. Playing poker sucks sometimes, no matter how well you play.
  13. Killed by a Krabler in 90th or so, at least I didn't have to watch him dance.
  14. if it means that i have to look at umpteen thousand threads about it from you then i hope he never wins a hand again.....if you promise not to post anymore threads about him, well he is one of the top pros in a tourney setting, and is playing consistently.
  15. If you mean search for players it is in the upper right hand corner and says "search players", then type in the handle you're looking for. If you mean something else then please clarify.
  16. Is there any reason to believe that table image is important in low level tourney's, and about what level would image start to impact the people you are playing with.
  17. kinda noticed hachem' s name up the leaderboard a couple of times, decent showing to back up the ME win. So far. Could get better in a hurry.
  18. Ehat sold me on the horse event was the final table. Anytime it is a coin flip between Patrick Antonius and David Singer on who is the least experienced, and probably, the worst player, wellllllll, thats a hell of a final table.
  19. I dont really think that anybody needs to tell the B&M casinos about how online poker affects there business. Just ask any floor person how many poker tables they spread 5 years ago and how many they spread now. While I think the B&Ms would like to have a larger rake of the online profits, aint nothing keeping them from starting there own is there.
  20. Ya guess it really is a bad beat story, but I was hoping that my name would refer to the beats i put on somebody else. your right I got the action i wanted postflop and wasn't going to stop for anything. I guess the pre flop strategy could be looked at, but I love getting in with small pocket pairs cheap or at good pot odds.
  21. Playing .25/.50 NL hold em, two tables on stars, after couple of orbits up a few bucks on table 1, get 33 in CO, UTG min raises, two callers from middle positions, I call, BB checks. Flop J J 3. checks round to me, bet 2/3 pot (about 3.50), BB raises to 8, I push ($20), he calls. BB shows J,6, turn a brick, river a 6. Ouch! Within 5 minutes on the other table, in bb with 55. UTG bets 3x, called by MP and button, I call. Flop J J 5. UTG bets $3 into $6 pot, folded to me, my read is J with a good kicker. I Push all in ($23), he calls, turns over J A, turn a brick, river an A.Any help with the wa
  22. Truth in that, but I mostly play lower limit tourneys and it is very difficult to get people to lay down hands. Been in situations with AA in late position seen a raise, reraise and all in before it even got to me. That was a head scratcher.
