Subscribed about a month ago and its already made a big difference, I find that I am going deep much more regularly and giving myself a chance. Culmunated last night in playing 3 tourneys, fields between 200 and 1000, finalled in all 3, two second places and a ninth for about $20k. I'm sure I run good aswell but playing small ball strategy has given me much more confidence.

Most players who have reached HU in the mill will be so delighted to have won that amount of money they aren't likely to argue for a few K either way if they can guarantee a large chunk for themselves. I bet most recreational players would do the same so don't be too quick to critisize. I say WD GG on the big score for him.

Largest 1/2nl Pot I've Ever Won - Obv. Brag Post
Andr4w replied to nhlfan's topic in General Poker Forum
I once saw a 7k pot get won on the 1/2 game at the venetian. The funniest thing was the guy wouldn't let the floor colour up his $5 chips so he was sat there with a fking mountain in front of him! -
Correct- in PLO the bet is much more likely to be the full pot, so the structure allows for much more play in the omaha round.

I live in the Uk and have played all over europe and the world including vegas. Slowrolling happens about as much as you see it in the US, i.e. not very often. I would bet a fair amount of money that the people doing it were either inexperienced and/or internet players who didn't really understand the concept of slowrolling. I think its was nearly a year after I started playing poker before I even knew what a slowroll was.

They are playing in roubles not $$$, he is choosing not to clarify that because it makes for a good story. Sift through his blogs and it does mention that somewhere in there.

Yes I live in Nottingham and go 2-3 times a week the place is awesome. They have a tourney running each night starting at 7.30pm £50-£100 buyin with a great structure each night. There are normally about 10 cash games running from 50p/£1NLHE up to £2/5 occasionally bigger. There is also normally 1 or 2 PLO tables running and 1 or 2 Dealers choice games. I've played all over the world including Vegas and it is the biggest card room I've been into with a capacity of 500 players for bigger events. The guy who owns it is a poker player himself and he has set it up with poker players in mind and no

Hi Guys,Just wondering if anyone knows if/where there are regular PLO games in vegas for when I visit in a few weeks time?. I just get too bored with holdem at times and I hate limit games. Any advice appreciated.TY in advanceAndrew

2k should be the min buyin to any event and the main event should be 25k min

He's back and up to £45k, hold on tight.......http://88percent.blogspot.com/

And that is all there is, no other casino has poker.
-
LOL no I have enough for 3/6nl and don't normally play above that, I do take the occasional shot though.
-
Thats because you get plenty of guys like me who aren't rolled for that game taking shots. Therefore we are essentially playing pretty tight and looking for a spot to get your cash it. The chances of him running into a big hand is pretty likely. He'd be better off not playing those type of hands unless he is up against a regular at those limits whose games he knows.

I know there are occasional questions about poker in the UK for people visiting here. Just to let you know in my home town of Nottingham we are getting europes biggest poker venue, and I live 10 mins from it, I can't wait!!!When the club is fully opened next year I think they are planning some big events, from what I hear the EPT and WPT are very interested in holding events there. The best part is there is no house games only poker, I can turn that leaky tap off now!http://www.dusktilldawnpoker.com/
