mmm...checking calling with quads..i wanna hear the xplanation behind this one. are quad 7's that possible in that hand? -
I think this is an easy call, folding with the 2nd nuts if just not profitable, especially if you have no real reads on him, he could have a wide range of hands that doesn't have the As.
-
Everything looks pretty standard, you could have given up on the turn after your continuation bet, but when I first read the HH, it looks likke a busted flush draw, perhaps something like 6-7 clubs, but he could have been in the BB with something like KQ, hit his two pair on the river, and shoved. I think you can pick a better spot.

Sweet, thanks!

My initial goal was to reach to $50 dollars by the end of December, ended up with $209 by November. My new December Goal is to reach $625 and and take a shot in the 0.10/0.25 SH NL tables.Work on my fundamentals of No-limit holdem, try to win at about a 25% $VOIP and a 40% $VOIP. AKA switching gears.Play 12k hands, since I can't start playing until after Dec 14, I'm going to have to put a lot time in at the $0.05/$0.10 SH tables.Only play a maximum of 4 Tables at a time.Try to obtain a 15PTBB/100.

LOL. I'm not a teenager, sad but true. More like broke college student. -
damn, this sounds like a fun challenge. i wish i could get a piece in this. how long does it normally take to finish a 180 MTT sng?
-
Oh I see, damn, sounds pretty volatile, but you've done it before, sure you can do it again.Yeah, I've been around for a while, I lurk the forums, don't usually post, except when I won my first MTT, I had to post that, since I was outchipped like 72-1 at the FT or something retarded like that and didn't have enough for a BB. GL with your quest again.

What? I am a poker kid with a hobby and a dream, I like playing poker. But what makes you think that I won't be able to reach 1k? What do you base this on? -
So, quick question Royal, on your run to 10k what BR did u start with?

Well, I know the 1 million target is way up there, that target is just the ultimate goal. I do have smaller-mini goals to obtain. Like my first real goal is getting to $625 dollars. I have never had the patience to play 10K+ hands at these micro-limits. I have to learn this dedication and patience.I always went for the big tournies and never had any BR management skills. What do you guys think is a good number of buyins to lose at a new level before you move back down? -
What's up everybody? I know I'm not as experienced as most of you FCPer's but I decided to do take on Chris Ferguson's Challenge from 0 to 10,000. Except I want to do what a lot of people want him to do, strive for 1,000,000. I know it sounds crazy, but i think it can be done. Obviously its not going to be easy, but it's sure going to be fun to try. And the best thing about it is that I cannot lose any $ from it.A blog is the best way to keep myself in check and reflect on my play. I started the blog slightly after doing the challenge, so I bent the rules a bit in the beginning, but I'm g
