  1. Snake Plissken? I thought you were dead.
  2. Quite right.Deterrents: Pepper spray? Taser? Better yet, leaving the guy alone and reporting properly to the real authorities?
  3. Even if you get punched in the face repeatedly, if you draw a gun and kill a guy, it should be manslaughter, minimum.
  4. I don't recall any switching out and I've seen it twice
  5. I put that in there because of all the discussion regarding phrasing of application of law and the inclusion/exclusion of a variety of words that may or may not change the meaning of people's phraseology, which simply seems to cloud the issue. This seems to be the core question here: Was it or was it not self-defense? I think if everyone had the option of jumping into a phonebooth and changing into their favorite superhero, I think a lot of people would, but the law and it's interpretation and application will still be a problem.
  6. If it leads to angry sex afterwards, then sure, let's do it Maybe so, but the point I'm making is that there is far too much gun violence and it's a systemic symptom of a society that's gone the wrong direction from what the laws intended and it's a shame, because the USA is a beautiful country and has many great things going for it.
  7. Not to stir things up, but...just an observation here:Is this or is this not a fine example of how deep down the rabbit hole American society and the laws that are supposed to govern and protect it have gone? I mean, look at you guys arguing semantics while somewhere someone in your country is probably getting shot in the face while you're posting.Amazingly, Florida isn't on this list, but I think we all know that stats and tables like this can be juked:Deadliest gun statesThis situation is far beyond an individual situation like Trayvon Martin's death. It's only superficial facts that differe
  8. Sorry for the Jersey guys, but anyone with a nickname like "Fitness" shoudl have been eliminated in utero. OK, just a joke...they were decent guys, even if they did seem to be Jersey Shore rejects. Still too harsh? Anyway, point is, they were unlucky because of the ease of the challenges and the labour intensive Fast Forward.Looking forward to the bitchy comments next week in the Hottie vs Nottie clash of the titanically small brains.
  9. Omar lived because he rarely, if ever, exposed himself to a situation he wasn't in control of. And when word on the street is that Omar is ALWAYS willing to go all the way, people gonna respect that and give the man a wide berth. Like when he went to get Cheerios in his robe with no gun. People cleared out and he even got a stash to drop in his lap without even asking.
  10. Buckeyes gonna rub one out on the Jayhawks...sho 'nuff
  11. So now he's a bastard, too? Cold-hearted women's shoe wearing motherfucker
  12. My (belated) condolences to Marc, his family and friends...
  13. Re: Playoff Adds and Drops...Adam's right. Unless Yahoo auto-limits and/or tracks this type of thing, it's way too much admin to bother with. For my part, I didn't drop anyone off my team after my last week and I don't know if anyone else did, but they shouldn't have. If eliminated teams start dropping decent players just because they are out in order to make them available (for whatever reason), that def is something that shouldn't happen, esp if it's a marquee player and next thing you know it's a waiver war.If there is a setting to prevent drops and adds by eliminated teams, make it so. If
  14. Thanks to the internet, people are seriously lacking balls when it comes to face-time confrontation/problem resolution."I agree with you, BUT..." appears to be the contradictory norm and to make such a post after having the opportunity to truly face-off about it is gutless and full of condescension.
  15. Finished Tree of LifeI will say that it's one hell of a great looking movie and the editing is very innovative and evocative of life experience. this type of narrative doesn't work all that well for me. I don't need a linear story, nor do I require simplicity, but I found this movie played like a dream, almost. Or memories. Some stuff really caught me, but most of it was kind of snooze-inducing.It's still something worth watching at least once. I found it's pacing and style to be most related to 2001: A Space Oddysey. There could be less flattering comparisons, I suppose, but there is little q
  16. Is it true that revenge is a dish best served with one's dick?
  17. I don't follow anyone on Twitter! NOBODY!!!
  18. Bubs, I thought, was kind of a moral barometer of the series and one of the main threads throughout. Excellent acting by Andre Royo.
  19. OK, I'll go out on a limb here.what does it mean when I dream I can suck my own dick?
  20. "Feggs"...while not the most appetizing moniker, the actual dish sounds pretty excellent and one can certainly adjust the ingredients to suit individual taste. Thanks! Also, once had a girlfriend who was somewhat sociopathic. Very chameleonesque personality. Adept at lying and making people feel the way they wanted to feel about her and things in general. I was completely fooled until the day she was gone, then it all snapped into place...
  21. Do you have a favorite breakfast cereal? You may have more than one. what is/are they? Does your house have a pottery room?
  22. FCP is the best site. The Mods are real human beings and not faceless, rule-quoting, power-mad drones. My experiences on 2p2 and Pocket5ives have generally been negative.
  23. Sanchez should demand a trade elsewhere, thus continuing the domino effect. Why should it stop with the Jets?
