i hate to be that guy, but the nba is complete dog shit right now. the tanking, the flopping, the style of play. its all bad and they need to make some major changes.

i googled 'how to make my lawn greener' and it said i need nitrogen enriched fertilizer. so i'll get that and put it down and if it works great. i can't imagine i'll ever really care, but i want to be able to say i tried. i started watching THE BOYS. its okay, but way too many scenes that don't involve homelander or butcher. i could do without the 'deep' character's story. what a massive bore fest.

i got that job and a 20% raise. i thought i would have to fight to get 15% but they just started at 20% and i snap accepted. hopefully its not a big mistake, but i can always move back into my old job in two years or so if it doesnt work. shout out to our fallen brothers, this one's for them.

when you were born with OFF THE CHARTS charisma like tommy you can do that. he's the best. you know i think the last two have soured me a little on the whole thing. the last one was just not good at all and the one before that was really just convoluted. but the first 6 were really, really good. tom just has so many classics. you could easily do a top 20 of good movies.

its essentially joining the legal department, so i no longer have to work directly with sales people. its been 12 years so its just time for something different.

at least its not the fridge. dishwashers arent too expensive i think. i might be getting a new job, on the news front. same company but different department. interviewed last week and indications are it went well and my offer is forthcoming. its way more work and much more difficult and it wont even be that much more money, so i gotta do it. its about being able to post on linkedin that i got it, thats where the real glory lay.

when you have millions of shows and movies to choose from at your fingertips its much harder to give a new series a chance. i started 'Prodigal Son' last night on HBO, because i like Mike Sheen, but i watched for ten minutes and the guy playing his son was just not doing it for me. so i clicked it off. this kind of ADD is almost unavoidable in 2026.

EL CAMINO: A Breaking Bad Movie watched the series again and finished off this movie. it was better than i remember from when it came out. i have more appreiciation for Jessie's suffering this time around.
