  1. bumpin this.......just wanna get some more opinions if possible.
  2. Heres a hand i want you guys input on: I have 2000 in chips early in a two table live tournament. 7 people at the table left. We started with 1000. Blinds are 15-30. 2 people limp (1000 and 1500 stacks, respectively), then the small blind calls (650 stack), I check the big blind with Qc-10c. Pot is 120. Flop comes Ah-9c-jc. Small blind leads leads out for 100 out of his 650 stack, im next to act?
  3. you can't change what your opponents do, but you can make strategy adjustments.we've seen that the most insensitive and best draws benefit the most from loose games and loose calls, so:1. being suited makes your hand's value go way up (SSHE is right)2. having nut draws is important, so that can affect your post-flop play. this can also affect your strategy in order to maximize your expectation (whether to add one more caller or to raise it up and have double stakes with one less caller, etc.).3. protecting your hand with vulnerable sensitive made hands is important. think about betting into an
  4. yo, dude is a toolbag, but i still bet he slays hot chicks. saying he doesnt is just jealousy cuz you dont.
  5. Go take the MAT and we'll compare those.whats the MAT?[/b]
  6. nah, they do the same thing about the pros plays too. Alot of armchair quarterbacks here. youd think these critics were making hundreds of thousands of dollars playing poker if they were as good as they act. good job with your quads, im glad you got paid off. ignore the negative posts in these kind of cases. if you are looking for advice on a hand though, there are some very smart players here who will help you out. its just a shame you have to sort through all the garbage to find them.
  7. i havent tried it yet, but i heard the 1-2 NL game at the taj is pretty weak. supposedly they are insanely loose there and you can sit on premium hands and get paid off. don't know for sure, but thats what some of my friends have told me. etither way, its worth the 55 minute drive to find out
  8. Are you serious pal ?If you want to mention that you play regularly with these people, who are to put it mildly very bad gamblers. For example, I played Jeremy Tinsley about a month ago and he was useless ! Get yourself some better players to play against as I feel your game will deteriate at such a pace that you will go bankrup within a year.Seriously what the fcuk are you on ?? why would you want to play against better players if your beating the players your playing against now?
  9. comments like that really bring the level of discourse up in a thread!! what this post is about is in general a topic I have much interest in.. I've read all ( and I mean all the books) studied odds, and ect.. and now I'm interested in the more.. esoteric parts of the game.. how to get into your opponents heads, how to effect their behavior against you, not just playing ABC.. i'm trying to Move beyond what Sklansky taught me.. but if you want to hate, hate away..im with you bigD. the psychology of the game is what really interests me. Thats what the Krablar was originally all about, but i don
  10. You realize that you are discussing teams that are equivalent to those from the USFL
  11. I don't follow hockey. How are the Leafs doing this season?
  12. I dont play online, so I'm not trying to ask this question to make myself feel better or anything, but How do you know they arent rigged? A lack of evidence that they are rigged doesn't mean they are not.
  13. If this was the case, then Maxfields check was actually a great play because he knew there was a good chance Tuan would go all in and he could make the call and double through him. In that stage of a tournament, unpredictability is huge and by Maxfield checking in a situatuin where you said "the check was a bad move", he feigned a lot of weakness and induced the all-in from Tuan. Im not sure if that was his mindset or not, but if it was, the check was actually very tricky and I would give Maxfield credit for it. As far as Tuan's all-in, he did get lucky on this particular hand, but I think
  14. yeah, exactly. its a shame Krablar doesnt actually help me though cuz my image is already so insane in my home game. i want to just play it to actually pinch somebody though.
