Zach6668 513
Seems like Washington is getting Shattenkirk. If Pittsburgh can't win again, I wouldn't be upset if the Caps finally did it. It'd be a good story.
Untilted 158
Shattenkirk with Washington helps me but I need to beat Zach before game 7. Shatty was my best player in that game
digitalmonkey 929
Looks like Brendan Smith to the Rangers for a 2nd and a 3rd.

gruven 530
Montreal trades subban because of 'character issues' and then trades forOtt. Character is Ott, Shaw, and Evelin. Got it.
Dubey 1,035
Burrows to Ottawa, Ott to Montreal. These teams are trying to make me hate them more than I already do.
digitalmonkey 929
Apparently Filppula was supposed to be a part of the Boyle trade but rejected it. I guess he's still not a Babcock fan. I'm curious to know what else the Leafs were willing to include in the deal.
digitalmonkey 929
I think the Habs are gonna go after Duchene or Vrbata. They freed up some significant cap space by trading Desharnais.

I'm curious to know what else the Leafs were willing to include in the deal. nice, I heard about the rejection but not why. I forgot about the Babcock connection, did they have issues? what do you think it would be? another pick, or maybe more of a good prospect, feels like Filpulla should also be worth about a 2nd. btw, I didnt realize Leafs were giving Tampa the "best" of the picks they have in the 2nd round, I think I read that somewhere. They have 3 I think, not sure who else's.

Duchene for what? Sergachev, first, McCarron? is it going to take something that ridiculous?
digitalmonkey 929
The Leafs have accumulated a lot of picks and prospects so it was probably another pock like you say...although it could have been one of their prospects....who knows. Maybe it was Brooks Laich lol
MapleLeafpoker 1,462
Or, would you trade Galchenyuk for Duchene? Would Colorado?
digitalmonkey 929
Duchene for what? Sergachev, first, McCarron? is it going to take something that ridiculous? Definitely one of the young dmen they drafted in the last couple of years. Bergevin doesn't really want to give either up, but he's brought in Benn and Davidson so it's much more of a possibility. I think Duchene would be a good fit in Montreal. Montreal's window is based all on Price and Weber so I wouldn't be surprised if they moved one of the young dmen and McCarron in the deal. digitalmonkey 929
I've been thinking about that Bishop trade. I think LA made the trade because, like Arp said, they have quite a few B2Bs left in the season, but I wouldn't be surprised if they're working something out with Vegas. Would they be allowed to sign Bishop and then "lose" him to Vegas in the expansion draft?
digitalmonkey 929
Vanek to Florida
Dubey 1,035
Galchenyuk for Duchene would be silly for Montreal. I think Sergachyev and a first gets it done.
digitalmonkey 929
Juulsen might be an option too instead of Sergachyev. I'm sure both teams would prefer Sergachyev, but Juulsen, McCarron and a 1st might do it.
digitalmonkey 929
Dwight King to Montreal Bergevin loading up on 4th liners for a playoff run lol
