Best Place To Buy Cheap But Usable Cards

Recommended Posts

I am in charge of a charity poker tournament/casino night and was just given the box of chips and cards from last year, and they decided after the tournament last year to just throw all the cards in one box without rubberbands or anything so we need to buy about 75 decks for this years tournament. The cheapest cards I've found online were the used casino cards from vegas, but on some reviews I've read, they said some of the decks come in unusable. So does anyone know the best site to buy cheap but usable cards. Thanks in advance

Are you OK with any kind of cards or are you looking for plastic kem/copag style? You can get regular playing cards for as little as $0.50 - $1.00/pack online

no, plastic is way too expensive. The only ones under $1 i found in my limited searching were old casino cards. I was just wondering if there was any specific site people bought form

go to your local casino is my best guess. since its a charity they might give you a better discount.only thing is they punch holes in them but i dont think that should matter much .

A couple of these would be under $70 for 72 decks of cards. Doesn't hit your 75 target but a couple decks of Royals form a dollar store would fill it out. Can't vouch for these myself but I'm sure that the only comparison to KEM is that they are both plastic. Probably flimsy and slippery but would suit your needs for this large of a field. Then switch to a nice setup of Copags or WSOP KEMs for the final table.Good luck with the game!!

For once I can contribute something to this forum. Dollar Tree's sell two packs of playing cards for one dollar. If you're buying large quantities, and have time...visit Dollartreedirect.com and you can order by the case and have them shipped to your nearest D Tree for free + a small handling charge, but to be honest...most stores have large quantities usually in stock. Just a friendly heads up since I work for D Tree as an assistant manager. The cards aren't the greatest quality, but I've used them myself when I've hosted several poker tournaments and they worked just fine.

Thanks to everyone for the help. I'll go check out dollar tree today, if not maybe a ride to Sam's Club.

Just went to dollar tree and got them 2 for $1. They are usable cards for the event. Thanks for suggesting that.
