InternetExplorer 2,609
Strat, its your song list I was looking for most. Shake didnt do it either but he's a loser and elbow deep in new relationship sex we definitely do not share similar musical tastes, but I think like 2/5 of mine would be songs you've heard several times (Beatles, beach boys). so the list won't conform to what you asked. Whiskers 680
Guys I'm really sad about this and I wish I had the balls to text that. What the fck is stopping you? Is she your BFF? Are you gonna hear from her again? Do you have any real chance with her? No So do it. Nothing to lose Seriously Napa. You do it playfully and she either ignores it or she flirts back. I don't even know why you think it would take balls to do that. Are you super serious guy around girls or something?
Roll the Bones 74
Gonna use a "vintage" one from the seventies with features such as AM, mono, and push button presets. If anyone steals that they need the gun to shoot themselves with.... Last summer vacation I convinced my mother to buy an iPad despite her fear of technology. This summer I arrive at the cottage - proudly TV-free, where the install of a stereo was hotly debated when I was a child and narrowly permitted - to find that she's installed wifi. It's like I hardly know her anymore... Why the fck won't my enter button work on this site!! arghghghgh

Which is why I'm trying to explore new things. New suggestions from people I sometimes enjoy. And hey, napa Strat, way to over think it Just list 3-5 songs you love. Simple really. Roll the Bones 74
Didnt take long to find an example... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=76eacw_zCCo Even has my theme music! This reminded me I forgot to show you this. I think it's your Uncle Ernie from Scotland. http://www.bing.com/videos/watch/video/coolest-bagpipe-player-on-earth/1jrie36j1
InternetExplorer 2,609
I remember when randy was first figuring out that his enter button wasn't working mid-story and he had a random sentence thrown in there mentioning it in passing. so it was just a sort of stream-of-randiness type of post. I was on mobile when I read it so I didn't quote it. but I really enjoyed it.
InternetExplorer 2,609
I was going to go all out and link you to YouTube and shit, but now you gotta go and ridicule me. so here you go. beach boys - god only knows Beatles - strawberry fields elliott smith - waltz #2 (xo) new order - love vigilantes frightened rabbit - acts of man
iZuma 764
well ok, these won't be all time favorites probably since that would take so much time but here we go: mistaken for strangers - the national paranoid android - radiohead the argument - fugazi remain - phosphorescent to live is to die - metallica like I said, this is just what I could think of right now, but these are all really good songs. Roll the Bones 74
did you call to thank them yet? I actually waited till the end of the day and called the guy, (the owner). He apologized and said it was close but that the other guy had more experience on a thing called V-auto which is an inventory analysis system. Which is technically true, but really would be such a small and minor part of the job it's ridiculous. After stewing about it for the weekend, I came to the conclusion that I really didn't want the job anyway after interviewing and knowing what I know now, and would have hated it. Ties everyday, work on Sundays and 6 or 7 days a week. The GM was about 70 and old school and a suck-up bus driver to the owner. The salesmen standing outside in ties looked like Shane and Beans after a stint in Vegas and jail forced to do time standing on the corner dressed up. There would have been sooo many things I would have had to change to begin to make a difference. Another big issue is they have a 60 day turn on used cars and hold your pay until anything over that is disposed of. If it's a slow store, which it is, that is almost impossible and that wholesale loss kills your profit. It's okay if they pay you on the new sales, but alas they don't. It turns out they have been through 4 guys in the last year and a half. In the realm of dealerships, it's pretty ****ed up. Everyone is telling me the guy that I thought was okay, in actuality is a big dick as well. I think I lucked out by not getting it. Karma baby.
Ron_Mexico 4,219
That works. Songs that you love and/or mean something to you. Now I gotta list them all and have a listen party, for one

I was on mobile when I read it so I didn't quote it. but I really enjoyed it. It's still isn't working on this site. I was on with customer service getting other shit fixed all morning but this still is an issue. I think it's IE10 or something. Don't tell me to use Firefox because it won't even open. You guys are apparently going to get a bunch of run on sentences with no paragraph breaks and more nonsense than previous, if that is even possible.
InternetExplorer 2,609
I love the "the other guy had this minuscule edge that conveniently keeps us from having to tell you that your face is stupid and you are dumb"
Essay21 2,385
I didn't realize the songs were supposed to be all time songs. I just took the first five off a shuffle of a current playlist. All time songs is much harder. I'll think on it.
Roll the Bones 74
That works. Songs that you love and/or mean something to you. Now I gotta list them all and have a listen party, for one I saw REO, (wait, how the **** did the curser move to the next line goddamit!) and Styx. Surprising good show. Went back Friday night to see a local band I've been friends with that have a cult following called the Menus. They do some metal infused versions of old songs and the lead singer dresses like a girl and acts like Howie Mandel. Good time.

InternetExplorer 2,609
Haha. I liked Randy's long "well I didn't want your stupid job anyway!" rant. thing is, I doubt randy stays on the sidelines for long. I am so jealous of people who want to do sales. job security isn't so great but job opportunity is all over the fking place.
Roll the Bones 74
I love the "the other guy had this minuscule edge that conveniently keeps us from having to tell you that your face is stupid and you are dumb" It was weird, he (the owner) seemed pretty sincere, but talking to people in the know it was the old guy's call ultimately. I admittedly couldn't hide how ridiculous I thought his questions were and some of the things he said during the interview. When he was going on about the V-auto thing, I simply agreed it was a great tool and looked forward to using it. (It's stupid). I gave a nice explanation about stocking inventory and how I was previously successful, and even threw in a reference to Moneyball which gave the owner a smirk. The old guy looked like I just made a reference to buying hookers. I thought, "oh brother" right then.
Whiskers 680
Buying hookers is the new market inefficiency.
InternetExplorer 2,609
staffing agency was ok after all. they indeed do have a temp to hire thing that could be a good fit. I had overheard her on the phone desperately trying to place someone in a $10 manual labor job and was like, okay this is probably not the right setting for me and my tie and my uppity attitude.
