  1. Many cats love running water and most kittens could easily jump up onto the rail of a bathtub, slip, and fall in. In fact, that's exactly what cat did once (luckily I was in the bathroom and helped her get immediately out of the hot water).
  2. http://philivey.com/Although looks like updates are rare, and it is not him who writes them.Worst website ever.Holy crap, that really is the worst website ever. January 6, 2005: "Phil has been taking some time off from the tour; so, there has been a bit of an off period for Phil Ivey news. We'll have more news as we find it."
  3. I guess that's all you can do until you feel confident enough to put real money on the line, but keep in mind that play money games aren't going to simulate the conditions of real money games very well at all.
  4. The Cherokee casinos in Oklahoma, which contain Oklahoma's poker rooms, have recently gone up to 21. Maybe this is because they started serving alcohol. They used to be 18 and didn't serve alcohol (and there used to be no poker, either...).That was by choice of the casino. Theres a palce about 15 miles away called "Creek Nation" that has poker, and they're 18+.I wasn't aware that the Creek Nation casinos had started poker. Do you have any idea about the Choctaw Casinos? I know they've started blackjack, but last I checked, they still didn't have poker yet. I'm anxious for them to start becaus

  6. From Americancasinoguide.com:"There are 16 Indian casinos in Michigan...The minimum gambling age is 21 at all Indian casinos except for the following seven where it’s 18: Leelanau Sands, Turtle Creek, Chip-In’s, Ojibwa, Ojibwa II, Lac Vieux and Soaring Eagle..."
  7. Uh, Amanda Huggenkiss? Hey, I'm looking for Amanda Huggenkiss! Ah, why can't I find Amanda Huggenkiss?
  8. Is that pronounced "Fat Can"? Awesome poker name...
  9. If that ever happened to me I'd kill myself.I hope to God that happens to me because at the casino I play at, that wins the bad beat jackpot.
  10. I think they should ban the ban on f-bombs. F-bombs are great for poker and they're great for tv-viewing. These people are all adults - why can't they say whatever the hell they want to say? Seriously, what's the rationale for penalizing players for f-bombs? Are they trying to make poker family-friendly? That's funny.
  11. Ephedrine was banned by the NFL after Korey Stringer (Minnesota Vikings) died. MLB started down the road toward banning ephedrine after Steve Bechler (Baltimore Orioles) died, but it is currently only banned by minor league baseball. It is not currently banned by MLB but will likely be added to the banned substances list after the current Collective Bargaining Agreement expires in 2008. Ephedrine is also banned by the IOC, I believe.
  12. I understand your point. I'm just saying that, legally speaking, a guilty plea is, in fact, an admission of guilt. I agree that some of the drug laws are way too harsh but no, I am not ashamed to be part of the process. If a subject has enough quantity to invoke federal jurisdiction and my office elects to indict and prosecute the case, then I can assure that we will have it on very good authority that said subject is *not* just a simple user. To the extent that mere users are being punished as sellers or manufacturers in state courts - I think that is wrong and I find it unfortunate.
  13. If you are truly a federal prosecutor you should know better than to claim that a plea of guilty is an admission of guilt. You should also know that you don't need very much of a drug in your possession for it to automatically become intent to sell. Methinks you are actually not who you claim to be.You, sir, are quite wrong. "A guilty plea acts as a complete admission of factual guilt and therefore waives any constitutional violation associated with the determination of guilt." Menna v. New York , 423 U.S. 61 (1975).Maybe you are thinking of a plea of nolo contendre, which does not constitut
  14. Next time you're indicted by a federal grand jury, you won't be prosecuted by a DA, but rather, by an Assistant United States Attorney. But you're probably correct that he or she won't be officially calling him/herself MCPeePants. But you never know.
