brvheart 1,752
Are we voting on whether Cobalt helped himself with that post, or whether Ken Burns Baseball counts? I think it's a little of both, even though JJJ is correct that his other account did say 'helped himself'. He was clearly upset about Cobalt's harmless question of 'does it count' and wanted everyone to dogpile. BigD clearly interpreted the question as a condemnation on Cobalt's suggestion from the previous post, even if that wasn't the original intent. I mean... it's obvious that Cobalt didn't help himself with the 2nd post, and it's also obvious that his question of the Burn's inclusion was absolutely legitimate. So we don't actually need to vote on anything.

Are we voting on Cobalt helping himself with that post or whether Burns Baseball counts as a baseball movie? 1) Cobalt did not help himself with that post 2) Even though it's gotten a bad rap in this thread, I *love* Ken Burns baseball, however documentaries do not count, even though they are technically movies. If we were to count it, it would absolutely be in my top 5 but it's really not fair since its like 10 hours long and insanely comprehensive. The only thing I don't like about it is, being a PBS film, it does that thing where racism is hysterically over-emphasized and worked into the narrative wherever possible. Its like watching History Detectives where you know there's going to be one thing from war, then two things that address the persecution of somebody...
brvheart 1,752
This is the kind of gibberish people make when they're having a stroke. Historically, you're too hard on me. Now, I will admit that I'm a terrible writer, but still. EDIT: Your 2nd point is what Nick should have said to Cobalt's legitimate question.
CobaltBlue 662
Which is utterly ridiculous. Nobody actually defines a movie that way. Wikipedia does.

Ron_Mexico 4,219
The Sandlot Bull Durham Moneyball Major League The Natural This is a good list. I would leave out Moneyball. It was decent, not great, for me. Field of Dreams was very solid but I don't really relate to the whole father/son romanticism angles. The Natural was a good book and a very good movie
