Im going to set a challenge for myself this week to win the Bodog TLB, I had a good night last going deep in 3 tournies so if I can get some volume in this week I think I can do it, Im already a day behind because I did'nt play at all on monday and tonite theres a lunar eclipse so Im probably going to get dragged into that.I think this thread is a good idea, and nudez are a plus. How do you play it?In these low stakes kinds of tourneys the villain's range is obvisouly huge here. I could see him having anything from pkt J's to pkt 7's or even a set to simply a hand like K 9. A set is unlikely seeing as though he simply called your turn bet... usually they just stick it in here. My guess would be K9 or J 10As for how I would play it. I think I play it the exact same way with maybe a slightly smaller bet on teh flop and then slightly on teh turn but obviously im shoving the river for value.Im betting he had Ad5d and backed into the straight? Anyway, this hand's pretty standard in $4.40's. Villain couldn't find the fold button w/ 69os, ship the pot. Figured he had basically any two paint w/ any straight draw, or 10x. Considering he limp/called a 5x raise from the blinds from ep, I didn't give him credit for being anything but a donkey. Glad I was right.p.s. maybe I get so many bad beats because the times I'm taking people to value town (like here) and get outdrawn seemingly outweigh the hands where I take them to value-town and they don't outdraw me.
