Fallsview Or Casino Niagra

Recommended Posts

Fallsview has session fees ($5 per half hour for 1/2 NL, and $6 for 5/5 and up)Casino Niagara has rake (better if your more tight).I find there are a lot of 1/2 NL pros, however the game is not short on fish either. Only ever played 5/5 NL besides the 1/2, but found it a bit harder, however still beatable.

The only limit game there is $2/$4. If you want to play that, go to Casino Niagara. Fallsview doesn't always have it going and even when they do, it usually breaks earlier. They don't always have a $1/$2 NL game either. You should go to Niagara to play $1/$2 NL anyways though since they use a rake. The $5 session fee in that game at Fallsview seems like a lot to me. If you want to play higher though, the $5/$5 NL game is great at Fallsview. There's obviously gonna be a few more good players, but there's still plenty of bad ones. I'll see you at the $5/$5 game if you come to Fallsview. Good luck!

I play in the 1-2 NL games and found that the players at Fallsview are generally more aggressive than the ones at Niagara. I think it has to do with the rake and the fact that people who play at Fallsview are generally 'richer' (since the limits for table games, poker games, etc. are generally higher).

Of the two hours i spent playing the 1/2 game at fallsview, one session actually had 9 hands dealt. When they called for the session fee after those 9 hands, i left.Your time would be better spent looking for spare change that people drop on the ground.

Yes, it is amazing how long some players can "hollywood" while they decide whether to call $12 with Jack-high.

Just don't go over the border to Seneca unless you are armed or wearing a bullet proof vest!
:club: Don't be dumb. It's not that bad. You go over the bridge, and the casino is right there. You won't be mugged if you drive over the bridge and immediately into the parking garage which is 90 seconds by car away from the bridge. Now if you go past the casino into the city...then all bets are off.The 1/2 NL at Seneca is way juicier...but the buy-in's are low(100 Max). If you can get a new table, it's good.

Ew. I think Seneca has the nittiest 1/2 I've ever played. I won't even play it anymore. The 2/5 is the softest game at the casino IMO and I'm there pretty much every weekend. Sometimes play the 5/10 or the "big" 2/5 but that game is not easy at all.

I'm not sure what nittiest means...but the players at most of the 1/2 tables there really are terrible. Like you read about terrible. The only reason not to play is the awfully small buy in. I can't see how one wouldn't be able to make money at it. Maybe not pay the bills money, but still.2/5, eh? Did you get any of that huge Bad Beat? 350K or something it was up to...

Effing table 12. I play there every weekend, had pneumonia on that Friday and wasn't there. I meant nittiest as in people are tightwads from my experience. Like people are still stupid and whatnot and the players are worse than the players at 2/5 but they aren't willing to gamble from my experience. The 2/5 players know more about the game but are too willing to try and outplay you and get stuck with hands. But I've only played like 5-6 sessions at the 1/2 and it was usually waiting for a 2/5 seat to open. So my experience isn't huge, but I LOVE the Turning Stone 1/2 game. Anyways, I'll be there again sometime this weekend between Thurs-Sat and probably will be there two of the days. I'll be in the 2/5 game with a white Notre Dame hat on, could come by and introduce yourself, my name is Tim, I'm 23 so youngish guy.
