Wouldn't he bet on the flop and see where he's at in the hand? My analysis is probably off, but I would probably call his river raise. And he probably would've shown 10 10 for a rivered set.

so based strictly on your read of him, how can you ever call? if he is only looking at his own cards and not thinking about what you could be betting with, he is raising for value only

If villian is as tag as you say he is then I don't think we're ever seeing a set here very often other then tens. I think we see QJs here a high percentage of the time, no?
