LOL yeah, I think I'm the youngest member of this thread at 18 years old. It's tough for me to think that I've been playing for 3 years or so now.
I'm 19 (20 in 2 weeks) and go to PSU :club:

I'm starting a new thread this is ****ing rediculous. I've had AA/KK like a billion times the last few days, its really sick. Yet I'm getting destroyed. In an hour of play this morning, I've had AA 6 times, and KK 3 times. I'm down a buyin. Here are my two favorites of the This was one of my first hands played this morning. So I start out suck a buyin. Make my way back up a buyin. Make a kind of a bad call on the river vs an aggrodonk that I check/called all the way down, and he hit the nuts on river.I build back up a little, and then this hand. I've been at the table 4 orbits, and this is the 5th time I've been 3bet. I've folded the other 4 times.PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $4 BB (4 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)saw flop|saw showdownSB ($434)BB ($347)UTG ($513)NoSup4U ($400)Preflop: NoSup4U is Button with Aheart.gif, Aclub.gif. 1 fold, NoSup4U raises to $12, SB calls $10, BB raises to $36, NoSup4U calls $24, SB calls $24.Flop: ($108) 4diamond.gif, 6spade.gif, 2diamond.gif(3 players)SB checks, BB bets $100, NoSup4U raises to $364, SB folds, BB calls $211 (All-In).Turn: ($730) Aspade.gif(2 players, 1 all-in)River: ($730) Tdiamond.gif(2 players, 1 all-in)Final Pot: $730Results in white below: BB has Kd Qd (flush, king high). I'm either dead, or get sucked out on.SO ****ING STANDARD! Sorry Zimmer, I am going to have to leave you to run good in this thread. I have to do something to change things up. I took a break, I started a brand new PT database, etc etc.gl all!Mark

Mark, I'm just wondering what your thought process here is. I hate 3-betting OOP with AQ and I hate it even more against an UTG raise. Also, it seems like BEST case scenario here is that you're up against a set. I know that it's easy to say with results out there, but it seems likely that you're beat, and you're not getting great odds to call the additional $300 considering that his range seems to have you pretty well crushed.

Um, mostly player dependant. Villian is a 34/29 regular I play with often at 3/6NL. (this was 2/4NL). His opening range is pretty wide there even utg. I never just call with AQo no matter what position I'm in. His calling range there is pretty wide in position as well. The flop is really horrible for me, because he either has me crushed as you say, and I can't get away from my hand, or I bet and he folds. Looking back, I almost think I should check/shove, instead of bet/call cause at least he can bluff something, although I dunno that he would. Honestly I'm not sure. Its a brutal spot cause I have such a sick hand, but it could very easily be drawing to 6 outs. If he has a set though, I'm a little less than 50/50 to win. Probably 45%ish. So I have to get my money in.Mark

Not going to read the whole thread, just wondering if anyone made significant gains towards the $200k goal?
No, but nobody really tried for that. But a bunch of people in the thread set smaller goals in did well. Since the thread started I know Zimmer and Teddy are both up at least least one level from where they were playing before and crushing.Mark

I'm not a huge fan of trying to recreate things but... Have you considered putting $500 dollars on a new site such as Tilt or whatever and starting the challenge again?

I think I might want to get in on this challenge. So far this year I have ~$30,000 in tournament winnings (counting losses)And about -$400 playing cash games online.Maybe set a goal for myself:Start with $500 on FTPTurn this into $2,000 by the end of August when school starts.Seems like fun.

All of my money has been from big FT's, I am par/sub-par at grinding it out at SnG's/ring games.
Ugh, I meant to edit my first post and I ended up quoting it. Im terrible at forums.
