Could you explain what that means in further detail please?Just trying to improve my game. thank you :D
basicly when you're 4bet by a player who the last time 4betted you they had aces, and your getting less than 5-1 implied on odds on a 8-1 chance of flopping a set, It's a pretty easy instamuck. When playing badly though, Jacks are a monster :D and so you call ready to stack of on a ten hi board :club: I'm such a donk sometimes

The funny thing is the guy to his left said "standard" in the chat box after he raised to $36. He was doing this to everybody if there were 2-3 people in the pot who either limped or had called a raise. I thought I made a mistake when he raised all in to force the other guy out but his time clock went all the way down to like 4 seconds so he definitely took forever. I guess he didnt put me on anything that strong since I only called the min raise. I mean I suck, but I am not that bad and would definitely have JJ beat in that situation.

I really don't know if I would fold jacks there. It's just so difficult to imagine you having AA-QQ after just calling a minraise. I guess I would more expect to see TT or AK/AQ.

That's how the trap works so well often. There are tons of times where I've stacked off with JJ or QQ in that spot and I'm behind 95%. You think "he just called preflop, no wai he has a big pair" but if they're willing to 4-bet shove pf, they have a big hand 95%.

Exactly. I was just fortunate enough that he re-raised when I felt that 99% of the time in that situation he would. If he didn't and just folded/called, then I would have to proceed carefully after the flop and probably kick myself for not re-raising in the first place, while losing my $8.

This helps, especially 150bb deep. Mark, I think we might run in opposites or something like that. I just had a +$1700 swing in the span of a few minutes. That set over set hand plus AA over KK for 100bb helped a lot. +$1400 on the day so far.

Some sick hands there Mark. Stick with it youll come out of it soon and hopefully be a better player because of it.
I'm trying, its just getting hard. I can't even put together a winning day anymore. If I lose this last $4400 I honestly don't know what I'll do.Also, I was running at 19/14 by the end of my session today. So I'm back to playing how I used to, and still no luck today.Mark
