Seat Change Feature

Hey everyone. Full Tilt Poker isn't working and I'm really bored right now so I thoght I would e-mail and let them know that I want a seat change feature when I play. They might not care, but I e-mailed them and posted it in their forums anyways. This is what I sent them."I've played on a few poker sites now and I haven't seen any that have a seat change feature. I know Full Tilt Poker has the "Put Me Here" button that rotates all the players so you can be in whatever position you want, but that's not what I'm talking about. There might be a certain player you want to sit beside at the table. There should be a feature that lets you move to that seat. If the table is full or the seat you want is taken you should also be able to click an option to get on a waiting list and sit there as soon as the spot becomes available. If the table is full and there is a waiting list for the table, you would take the seat you were waiting for and the new player would get the seat that you were in. I usually make seat changes in live games if I want position on a certain player at the table and I just think it would be a nice feature to add to the online poker rooms. What do you think?"Am I the only one that ever wants to make a seat change when playing online? Let me know what you guys think.

I think it'd be super annoying if players kept jumping seats in the game. It's annoying enough that players table hop.

You might want to go over to 2+2 and post it there if you look under internet gambling and find a thread called ftp questions a guy name ftpdoug takes request there and many of the sugestions from that thread have made it to the site he starts a new one about once a week

I don't really play enough cash games online to really care that much. Full Tilt is up and running again so I'm not bored enough anymore to go and tell the guy on 2+2. LOL. Thanks anyways, bigeasy.

There is a suggestion forum in the Full Tilt Poker forum........you might try there too.I think it's a good idea, but if someone changes seats to get position on me, I'm leaving the table

I agree that it would be a nice feature. But imagine the seat movement and disruption if two players want to sit to the left of each other at the table.

I play live, and it is a big part of live play. I think it would be a great idea for a site to implement. To control it, you run it like a casino. You have the option based on time at the table. Once you change seats, you go to the end of the list for seat changes.

Exactly.And you'd have to post your blinds if you move away from the blinds by more than 2 seats, and so on.The way it works here is that you just ask for the button if you want to change, as opposed to having to be there longer.
