Only things you beat are 99 and a total bluff.You said he's been solid for 30-40 minutes. He raised UTG, bet the flop, called a raise, and went all in on the turn. I think you know what the play is here.

I don't think the 8 helped his hand...I really see him having a similar hand as yours..99-AA, with only one of which you beat..I'd hate it, but the correct play I think is folding..hes not really pushing a draw here, unless its AK of spades, but I think thats very unlikely
