Why should I allow someone to engage in sexual orientation slander, as well as insulting my dear old mother (who I might add, is a saint) to continue his vile vitriol? Interesting. I bet you have that old internet that limits you to a certain amount of letters per post. So to save letters you dropped the e's from "you're" and used "u" for "you." But then when you were coming to the end, you realized you still had a leftover letter, so you threw on a "k" at the beginning of "new."Am I right?

Why should I have to tolerate abusive personal attacks at a table when a mechinism is in place to silence it? I will use every and all legitimate (re:not engaging in profane and abusive verbal attacks myself) tools at my disposal to disrupt any potential opponent's game. FWIW, I have occasionally reported extremely abusive chat at tables myself. If someone wants to play some "get everyone on tilt" metagame -- it can be done without vulgarity and profanity. Table chatter can have value, but driving customers away is silly.Lots of people play poker for fun. I often play at a very tiny site and have heard recreational players sometimes talk about playing there because "everyone is so nice, at SITEX everyone is just so mean." We _WANT_ the recreational players in the game.In any event, it is the site that makes the real decision on suspending a player's chat. If someone wants to open a poker site called "Uncensored Poker" to cater to that crowd, I think it might actually be a great idea.

First of all, chat ban is unfortunately necessary. I play micro limits. Sometimes I am at a table with a few old ladies (older than me... like 60s, 70s...) and someone will be in there causing havoc. I mean, com'on, that could be your grandmother. Where is the respect?Anyway, I do agree if you report chat you should not rub someone's face in it. You did your part to help create a good environment. Don't muck it up by being the same, even if your words are carefully chosen.And guys... please stop using the P word and refrain from cursing.
