For Those Who Play In Ac

Recommended Posts

me and a buddy of mine might possibly be getting a couple of of townhouses close to the casinos down in AC (from what ive been told, they are within 2 miles). i just wanted to get a feel of how many people would actually prefer and want to stay at a nicer townhouse instead of at a hotel? if we get a good positive reply we will hopefully go through with this, and maybe we could work out some sort of deal with fcp players :club: . the only townhouse that i have actually looked at so far is a 3 bedroom 2 bathroom 1000 sq ft place. of course, we would do some work to make them look nice. we would probably charge under or close to the same rates as the hotels. would anyone here actually consider staying at a place like this?

You're competing with:1. Room comps2. Maid service3. Location, location, location4. Brand recognitionI'd think a townhouse would do well for weekly rentals during the beach season, but for your typical degenerate poker player, you'd probably have to adjust your price to compete with the aforementioned luxuries that hotels afford. I wouldn't pay $199-299 a night on the weekend when I could get a room at the Tropicana or Harrah's where I could slip out at night and play without ever having to leave the building. Plus they make my bed and bring me fresh towels, which is HUGE.

just watch out because the area around the casino is kind of a **** whole.
Truth. Would you be offering 'round-the-clock security, or would we be on our own to fend off crackheads peering in the windows like it's Jurassic Park (as Dave Chappelle eloquently put it)?

clearly there would be things that we could not offer that a casino would, and we would price it accordingly aka cheaper than a casino
I still think that you should make arrangments for a bed turndown service. Fresh sheets and Andes mints on the pillows go a long way. Also, acknowledgement is owed to the Wegmans reference in your signature. I wish they'd migrate their way to Boston, because their subs are like a party in my mouth, whereas Subway's are decidedly not.

we have a wegmans here at lehigh, and back home they r building one right now as we speak. the township where it is being built is redoing all the roads around the area to get them ready for the higher traffic
