hey guys i was wondering who is going to be in LA for the LAPC at commerce...i am planning on playing at least 2 or 3 prelim events. i wish my roll could allow me to play the ME, but even if i sat'd in i'd still have to sell it off 10k is just too much. im expecting the high rollers here to be takig down the televised wpt final table.

commerce ID hahaha. im over 21 but my friends go with and have no problems but its different for the tourneys bc i think you need a players card for those. not sure on that tho. i know they have single table satellites but does anyone know what the buy ins are for these and if there are any super satellites?

To answer a few questions. Yes you need a photo I.D. (limited to a valid drivers license) in order to get a Commerce tourney player card. You have to have a player card, they won't let you play in a tourney without one.Leading up to and during a tournament series, Commerce will have non-stop satellites running all day from about 11:00 AM with the occasional Super/Mega satellites. Depending on the buy-in for that days tournament, they will have single table (10 handed) satellites for as little as $40 and up, usually $40-$60-$80 or $120. Most if not all the tourney's during the L.A.P.C. are $500 buy-in and up events. So chances are they will not have any satellites for under $60. Buy-ins for Mega or Super satellites normally run $120 and up. If you want to try and single table satellite your way into the $10,000 main event expect to pay $1,200 to swim with the sharks. Hope this gives a general idea as to what you can expect when you get there.Good luck!

when is it? like in march? I really have to go again to visit all my friends down there, hopefully I can save up enough to buy in to all the prelims and the main so I can be there all month, would be fun....if not I'll probably at least go to the ME.edit:late january? ughh I thought it was like late feb. or early march? Jesus, these live tourneys are so bunched up, I kinda feel sorry for the dudes that go to everyone of them...all the traveling must suck. As far as I know Aussie millions is around that time isn't it?
