hello, I was even yesterday and am losing my ass this morning. One specific hand I am in the cutoff it's folded to me i have QQ and raise it 4xBB get one caller which doesn't have much left. Flop comes AK10 which is just ****ing prime for QQ he proceeds to go allin which is an atrocious overbet of 2.5 times the size of the pot, so finally I called. This doucheclown flips over 55 so I am way ahead but the rest is history as you know what fell on the river.

Hey do you guys think I will get slaughtered at the casino? Is it easier/same/harder than the tables I play online? Most of you guys have watched me play or heard me whine about my hands so you should have a good grasp on my style. I realized I have 24 days of work left. That's way too many, I miss school mad, especially this summer I am taking 4 easy courses and 2 hard ones, with no labs. That's a Godsent for a Science/Acc kid.

i had mediocre game against some guys who are really bad at poker last night. Well a couple are good, but in general very bad.i lost 325 bucks out of the 340 in my pocket before finally after about 8 hours of losing climbing back to 490 when in the last hand of the night i made a ridiculously loose call with q 8 suited on the button when everyone in the pot in front of me had called a 8 dollar raise. i figured there is 5 guys in the pot already for 13 a piece. we were playing 2/5nl and it was the last hand so i had some great pot odds f u c k it.anyway ends up being a 7 way pot. flop comes q j j rainbow and it checks around to me. i definitely figured someone had a jack and was slow playing but i bet 25 and got one caller. turn was blank, bet 25 again. (really strange and stupid betting on my part here but i was extremely tired at this point) same caller. river card blank he checks. i think he is going to reraise me if i bet but for some reason i decide to bet 50 more (stupid i know) he then says "i think you are on a stone cold bluff" and calls.lucky me he had a pair of 9's big pot

The casinos here are terrible, so I never play live. But the low fixed limit games are very loose, 6-7 to the flop every hand. But I think you've said before that you only play NL? If so it may be a little different, but still expect standard raises to get called by K2 suited and stuff.

i find casinos genrally easier to beat at the lower limits. People are often wasted and jsut having a good time. On top of that some of the tells you'll see at a casino are just priceless. REad Mike Caro's book for more on this subject matter. it's awesome. anyway i think you'd do fine but i tend to do better at casinos 1/2 or 2/5 if i loosen up a little bit agianst alot of the opponents there becasue they will be playing really bad cards and hands like k j and k 10 and a 10/9 or maybe even 8 if your in position become alot more playable due to people playing these cards with any kicker. My philosophy is to get in there and play with those loose players and try to play just a little bit better cards than them that way i am maximizing the pots i am in there with them. granted if you just sit back and wait for monsters you'll win but i want to be in there taking down more pots against all the suckers at the casinos. just don't let em' push you around and you'd do fine.

last nite was brutal, dropped 125, but cleared my 200 bonus on party so im up i guess :roll: marion live games are a joke compared to online. 2-5 at rama plays like .25 .50 online, maybe worse. i'd go to an ontario casino with you, all though my preference is rama. niagara card room is some messed up junk.

you dont need to convince me, im there every weekend 8) you wanna know why niagara's room closes for 6 hours every day? they dont have enough competent dealers to staff the room around the clock. thats ridiculous.
