econ_tim 0
Full Tilt PokerLimit Holdem Ring gameLimit: $5/$105 playersConverterPre-flop: (5 players) econ_tim is BB with 8 T 2 folds, Button raises, SB calls, econ_tim calls.Flop: 8 Q 2 (6SB, 3 players)SB checks, econ_tim checks, Button checks.Turn: J (3BB, 3 players)SB bets, econ_tim . . . SB is crazy loose and the reason I'm in the game. His VPIP is above 80, but his AF is still high. He bets any piece of the board and I've seen him try hopeless bluffs too. Button is new to the game. Sysvr4 0
I'm raising there for the following reasons:a. Shut out button. Even if he has a better hand, he'll have difficulty calling two unless he has a monster.b. Free showdownc. Your read on sbWhoops, I'm not teneight.Jeff
Garn 0
i would bet the flop but with your extra outs on the turn I think there are good reasons for calling or raising. I think that I would just take a free card
pokerplayer24 0
calls, dont see the argument for anything other then that.
mrdannyg 274
calls, dont see the argument for anything other then that.well, folding is not an option i can assume, but i think raising can be argued. according to "our" read, our 8 might be ahead, so this gets us a free showdown, and even if we're behind or get 3-bet, we have plenty o' outs.i think calling and raising here are very very close
Moneyball16 0
This might sound like a stupid question but what was your plan for the flop?
screech 0
I would lead the flop.On the turn, I just call. There is no good reason to raise to shut out button because he probably doesn't have much of anything. If you call, he may even call with a hand like 77. Also, you would rather SB keeps bluffing, since if he is behind, he is probably drawing very slim.
