Hello guys, i was just curious how many FCP'ers here are from NY and the surrounding areas. im usually in Atlantic city and Foxwoods all the time ( about 3-4 times a month ) so i was curious to see how many of you all frequent those establishments and how often. who knows maybe we can meet up sometime. lol.... i love those old people playing 2-4 omaha hi/lo. 2nd to last time i was down there i was playing that game with them. actually made 150 bucks in that game but there were playing with a kill that time. when i go im usually there for a day and a half and its usually mon-tues or tues-weds.....weekdays are the best for me

Foxwoods on a weekend is brutal. Long waits for the games and very crowded. like i said before, i love the weekdays.

i live in boston but usually at foxwoods on mondays or tuesdays playing the 5/10 kill. i played the O8 2/4 there once and wanted to tear my eyes out of my skull the play was so slow. no one had any idea what they had, and it took like twenty minutes a hand for the dealer to sort out what the eight callers had at the end.

i was at foxwoods last week on a tuesday night ( redsox vs yankees lol ) and i was playing the 5-10 kill game also... the tables broke up somewhat early and i didnt feel like waiting so i went and played craps and blew my profit that i made at the 5-10 game lol oh well, went back to poker room, still a wait for 5-10 and saw a guy i was playing 5-10 with playing a 4-8 and he told me to sit down, which i did for a couple of hours and i ended up making some 200 and change playing. i love poker lol

hey that was me. i got killed that night. i couldnt even catch a break at 4/8. i kept showing you all my **** hands. there was that guy that was raising almost every pot and arguing with his friends about going back to ac. remember back at 5/10 that guy that got pissed cause that retard on my left limped with kings? pretty hilarious when that guy on my right and you limped with kings just to **** with him.

you know whats funny, i had a funny feeling that was you lol..... that night was pretty funny... should of stayed longer though, some other guy went on complete tilt, funniest thing ive seen at the table in awhile.

I'm in central NJ for the next few months. I've also been meaning(and being a general lazy *** about it) getting a decent home game going at my place. The only reason I don't get down to AC that much because I lack a car. I played when I could in NYC before all of the busts that have happened

i'm from long island. i try to get down to AC 1 or 2 times a month. heading up to syracuse tonight for the turning stone tourny. i've never played there before so i'm interested to see what it's like.as for foxwoods, i haven't been there since december, i try to stop there on my way to boston to visit family, so who knows the next time i'll get there. but the waits are pretty insane.

Sunday is tough for me because i help run a local game here where i live, which is why i dont usually go out on monday either because i sleep late. but who knows i might be able to make it out there monday sometime. so maybe you can change your plans by one day, it would work out then, come monday leave tuesday...

I may be going down there this Sunday. It will be my first time playing poker at Foxwoods. How bad is it on Sundays? Does it get less crowded later in the evening? Will I need to wait a few hours to get a table?I also wanted to ask about their SNG's? Are they winner take all or pay top 3?

ummm sundays during the day are pretty busy ... they start dying down around 8-9 pm, again it all depends on what limits your playing, if your playing the NL 1-2 game you will get a seat fairly quickly, people bust out pretty fast and dont usually keep rebuying in and plus they have like a million 1-2 NL tables going, im not too positive though because i tend to stay away from Foxwoods NL game because i hate the half hour pay 5 bucks thing, its terrible, rather just pay a normal rake when i win a pot then having to pay 5 bucks every half hour no matter what win or lose or being card dead ( not to mention foxwoods just hired and trained a whole lot of new dealers who are slow as hell and dont know what their doing just yet and that means far less hands per half hour ). As for the sit and go's, i dont have a clue, i heard they were winner take all ( of course deals are allowed ) but i dont know for sure because i dont play them.... Hope that helped you out. got a local game here in middletown, dont know how far north jersey you are but middletown is only like 40 mins from like franklin lakes or sussex county ... have a game here every friday/sunday/weds 1-2 NL 60 dollar tourneys to start the night on fridays and sundays

Taj does host some winner take all SNGs, last time i was there like 3 months ago they did...at least...Foxwoods i believe is top 3 for all, at least from the announcements i've heard...
