checking the spreadsheet... 7 is my best apparently.I always feel good on the upswings but the creeping feeling of doom comes in as I know the deck will turn with a vengence all too soon.

if you are saying that you are less likely to win 55 in a row than you are 54 in a row if your "single independent session win expectation is, say 70%", then I agree. But your original post suggested that you think you are more likely to have a losing session after several winning sessions, than your are otherwise expected. And that is incorrect.taking what you said in the quoted part, I still think we are not agreeing. so, for now, I don't think it's a misunderstanding, as much as I just think you are wrong.
My original post was wrong in theory. After you took the math part into account I went with the probablility theory of Math following your top argument which is correct. So Yes I was wrong in the beginning and Yes we had a little misunderstanding with the math. And to FoxwoodsPro, Please stop being an arrogant idiot and realize what we were talking about, I know it is hard for somebody uneducated to see the math behind what we were talking about so you are forgiven for now

If you won an average of 5bb, but lost an average of 20bb.......you know what I'm getting at.

I'm still on a bit of a streak of winning sessions in a row live. Last 6 trips down to AC(since late December), I've come out ahead playing 2/4 and 3/6 at Harrah's. You can spare flames about how soft the games are and all that good stuff; it's still coming out ahead in 6 live sessions in a row without succumbing to donating a chunk of it back to the casino in Blackjack or Roulette (my favorite casino vices) and leaving with more cash to add to a bankroll. Hopefully my good fortune continues and I can take a shot at moving up to higher limits or maybe some satellite buy-ins to one of the bigger events they host down there.

Responding to the OP's question I actually had a stetch in November and December where I won 34 sessions in a row. I know it sounds crazy but it was a really nice rush. Be wary however that you don't fall into the trap of playing results. I realized after the fact that I was doing this, if I was down I'd play for 6 hours just to get even if I was winning I'd book a small win in fear of a loss. Two or three times I got myself stuck several buyins and jumped up stakes and ended up booking like $7 wins just to quit ahead. When the streak finally did come crashing down it was a big loss before I realized I couldn't keep the streak alive. Now I really try and focus on playing hours not results like DN and other pros suggest and my BR management is much better I don't jump up in stakes just to score an even session.
