sportsbettingman 0 Posted February 23, 2005 Share Posted February 23, 2005 I figure this place would be a good source of input on this subject...I've made a few cd's using clips from movies mixed into the middle of casino style music and songs for background during our home poker nights or casino nights.For sound clips...I've used...Rounders...MANY,MANY CLIPS.Swingers...the vegas part.The Sting...the poker parts.Tombstone...the poker parts.Maverick...ditto.Lock, Stock and two Smoking Barrels...a short clip.Lonesome Dove...the card game parts.Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas...some funny lines.Boiler Room...the home casino short part.Hard Eight...a few short clips.Tried to find something from Shade...but it sucked to much...just a poor remake of The Sting.I want to buy the Cinncinatti Kid...but haven't found it on DVD yet.These were just from the DVDs I own...any recommendations from a movie you've seen would be awesome.For Music/songs...Some country...with gambling references...Willie NelsonMerle HaggardWaylon JenningsHank Williams Sr.But most of it is casino era stuff...Frank SinatraTony BennettDean MartinElvis Presley"Mob Hits" vol 1 and 2a compilation called "Vegas Baby" Ultra LoungeI'd like to get that old saloon piano music...and whatever you guys could recommend.(Classic Vegas)Anything you guys know that's not listed would be much appreciated.Thanks!~Lance Link to post Share on other sites
