He showed up late for the original draft (as commish) because he said he got caught up at the casino so we had to move it back a day, which didn't jive with everybody so Arp got totally screwed. Arp gets mega credit for sticking it out with a team he had to assemble with everyone else's scraps.

Wow, at first I was thinking you must be thinking of someone else, but then I slowly started to recall something about feeling a little screwed but willing to say f it, and whatever. I love being the underdog! lol

As I quoted Dale above, I also really didnt think the pool would last. I assumed this was barely above 'yahoo public' for most of the other guys and everyone would stop caring, but instead, we all got more and more into it, and became friends through it too. The meetups at Chris' poker tourney at HHF, then Vegas.....those were incredible. After all my trips, that one night we were all together is still one of my fav nights of all time in Vegas. I wish more of "us" had been there, otherwise, just great. Now I just appreciate the genuine friendships we've made so much, I cant see myself ever wanting to leave FCHL.

(though I came really really close to quitting at about midnight last Thursday! lol)

(Note: My "like" on the previous post was regarding the friendships made and in no way related to the quip about last Thursday)

Vegas was all a blur. I had several blurry nights with Arp there. The biggest group was probably when John hit the Royal Flush and we went to the Peppermill. I think you guys had an even bigger group at a later date that I wasn't at, that involved Fremont St and Glitter Gulch or something. I've seen some videos. I think Steve was there and Biatch. Lol.

Yeah it's all a blur. I think John and Ollie were there too. And Wayne.

ALL TRUE!

Steve, you were there indeed, though maybe your question was tongue in cheek. by the time I showed up, you were already gone. (in a good way)

Pretty sure that night was....Adam, Steve, Wayne, Biatch, John, me and Armen. I think thats it. Wayne's 20th anniversary, the lady yelling at Biatch and I, and the Gulch.

And Adam, Armen and I walking out of a club at 9am, and into bright sunshine.

The only crappy part of that trip was that I was 5min and 30 metres away from Ollie, and I never got to meet him.

Another great night was Zach, Chris, Ray...yes, RAY!, me and again Armen. That was a blast. Saskatchewan Seal Hunt!

And the lady dealers+fellow players downtown who all believed Ray was the disavowed heir to the Red Lobster fortune. hahahaha
