I just want the White Sox to win because I think it will piss off Cubs fans. And anything that pisses off Cubs fans is +EV in my book.Just sayin'...
Rumor has it that Cubs fans have migrated to the south side and are now rooting for the Sox?? It's crazy.

Hmmm. Well, the ones that I know are gonna be pised and that's all I really care about. I do find that CRAZY though.I'll have to call the fans I know to rub it in tomorrow.

Did jermaine dye give an interview after the game about telling the homeplate umpire he got hit by the ball when he clearly didn't
It was the ump's decision, not Dye's, and the ump blew it. Obviously Dye is gonna want what's best for the team...have you ever seen a guy argue against an ump who made a bad call which benefited his team??? No.

Cubs fans shouldn't really care. Don't forget, we don't like the Astros either.

That walk-off homer was unbelievable. I'm completely shocked right now.I'm wondering now if Lidge will ever be able to recover. For Game 3, dont be surprised if Roy Oswalt pitches a complete game regardless of the score. And BTW, I've watched the Astros all year long and actually been to about 10 games this year. Everytime I look at Brad Lidges numbers I'm always suprised. While he does look dominate often, he just doesnt look as dominate (like the best closer in baseball) as his numbers would indicate. While I've felt confident when he was on the mound, I never felt the game was a sure thing. He seems confused often as to what pitch he needs to throw and occasionally has trouble finding the strike zone. I felt a lot more comfortable when Billy Wagner was the closer here (regardless of what the numbers say).
