It seems we have a built up tolerance to them. The East COast gets hit pretty hard but for those of us living on the West Coast, Hurricanes aren't as much of a worry (expect Charley). I hope we keep our power this time. Katrina knocked mine out for 4 days....of course, it does not compare to what that bitch did to the Gulf States, we were lucky here in S. FL.
