Kenna and I met about two years ago when we were playing a tournament together. He is one of THE nicest guys you will ever meet. Feel free to look up his tourny accomplishments on the Hendon Mob website. Over the last two years he has given me great poker advice. During cash games and tournaments it is never fun for me to play a pot with Kenna. He can sense weakness in me like nobody else can.One day we found ourselves at the final table of a tournament together. I had an above average stack and took a HORRIBLE beat. I felt crushed. Kenna turned to me and said Don't even think about giving up right now, you HAVE to focus. This was coming from a guy who was still my opponent at the table. They said he'd won the California State Poker Championship...which seemed a little obscure to me.That said, his play and banter impressed me. I'd love to see Raymer win the event again - he has already gained my respect as a great player. Ivey, Matasow and Phan would also be great to see on the final table.
