I crouch on my chair, lean over the table, and place my balls on the cards. You know, to let everyone know I have...never mind, I need a life.Haha.I'll finish it for the slow people. That's a bad idea. Who's going to call a bet when it's clear you have....The nuts.Rimshot!
As much I dont like you....that was pretty ****in hilarious

For my card protector I like to get extravagant. I use the one of the best in the biz. It's a classy, yet simple. A poker chip from my stack. It intimidates the other players as they stare at the $1 symbol on the top. Muhahahah

I use a Ronald Reagan coin that i recently bought on Ebay. it hasn't been bringing much luck as of late, so i think i will go back to my $1 bininons chips, or my bush cheney chip. Yah never know what will bring you luck.Try a Clinton chip. Using the chips of people who ran the economy into the ground doesn't seem like a good omen for wining money.

ran the economy into the ground?? i think that was what clinton left bush with. Clinton left bush to take office with our economy going into one of the worst recessions we have seen. Good job planning for the future clinton we appreciate it.How did poker become politics oh well, it causes more controversy. hope we get back to chip protectors.

I've worked as a speechwriter for verious Democratic candidates over the years, so it's instinct.Back to poker.

I just ordered an old 25c Horseshoe chip from the 60's White horseshoe insert with the horsehead mold. I thought it was kind of cool & had alot of poker history. It hasn't arrived yet, so I don't know if it works yet or not? Where I play live occasionally, the dealers are card cover obsessed, so I thought I better get one.Neat fidget widget at least![edit] I just cheched the mail & its here, its pretty cool! Its a heavy bugger, should work perfect!

I have a small flask with a skull on it that a friend gave me. It holds one shot. I put a shot of tequila in it before I start playing. When I'm done for the night, it's the first drink I have. Either to celebrate a winning night or to start drowning my sorrows.

Eh.. You don't even really need a card protector unless you are sitting right next to the dealer (the actual dealer, not the button). Heh.. Actually caused a situation the other night when a guy sitting to the immediate left of the dealer moved his cards to reach his chips for a bet and the dealer mucked his hand becuase it wasn't protected and he was moving the cards towards her. Now before anyone goes off on the dealer, I saw it and would have done the same thing. The guy was pretty drunk and didn't really know what he was doing. As for me.. They usually take the rake out in quarters at the low limit games I play in, so if you win enough hands you end up with a stack of quarters. I'll try to wait until I get a NY quarter and use that. It's the Hometown thing, I guess.

if i'm at a casino or the such i'll use chips, but at home games and games at the college i get a little wierd. i bring out a bowie w/ a six inch blade. i.e. don't touch the damn things 'till i give 'em to ya. used to use an old Lawerence Taylor starting lineup figure but that seemed a little too boring. cheers. frontcoin.jpgbackcoin.jpgThis is my card protector. It's the official coin for Amphibious Task Force West, the group of sailors and Marines from the West Coast that were the first ones over to Iraq for the invasion. On the blue side, it says "Magnificent Seven" at the top, and "Operation Iraqi Freedom" at the bottom. In between are the ship's crests of the 7 ships that were part of our task force. From top center clockwise: "USS Dubuque, USS Bonhomme Richard, USS Pearl Harbor, USS Anchorage, USS Comstock, USS Boxer, Uss Cleveland (center)On the red side, it says "Amphibious Task Force West" at the top. "Landing Force West" at the bottom. The top logo is "Amphibious Squadron One", followed clockwise by the three groups of Marines. I don't know what the names of their groups are.It usually gets a pretty good reaction. People usually thank me for my service. Anything that might get me an edge is good in my book!BTW, I know the pictures are blurry, it's hard to get the right lighting with clarity. I'll try to fix it later.

If I'm on the IBM I use a cursor. It's shaped like a little white arrow. I just slide it over the top off my cards and it prevents my cards from getting mucked accidently or flipping for others to see. It hasn't failed me yet.If I'm on my Mac I use something similar. I use a little black arrow. It's a subtle change but I like to switch things up a little. Unpredictability is a good thing at the poker table.

Think I'll try that. Until now, I've been holding a chip to the monitor.
