pocket aces after the flop nl cash

Recommended Posts

I agree that going all-in with pocket aces or kings is the right play in very bad NL games. However, if you are playing in a game with moderately competent players, you shouldn't do this.Wrong.

If I'm not mistaken, the strategy advocated by Smash is to go all-in preflop with AA and KK and only with AA and KK. This couldn't work for long in my home game as I'm sure the other players would figure out what I was doing.Wrong.They only get to see your cards when they call. They will think you're pushing with junk some of the time. If they allways fold to your al in push, start pushing with junk, you'll win all the money since you'll never get called.Right?

Smash, I know you live around here, so come play with Aseem and me and see how often we pay off your preflop all-ins

I agree that you should start going all-in with less powerful hands if people always fold, but this isn't what you were originally saying.
