The most interesting thing about the worlds largest beaver dam is that it was discovered via Google Earth and some guy trekked out there to see it IRL and was the first person to ever set foot in that

Beware of overcharging someone. Thats the #1 lesson learned from the Zimmerman case. He was guilty of avoidable behavior that ultimately culminated in a fatality- manslaughter- but he was not guilty

You should've tried to get on the jury and convince the rest that he was not guilty.

Two things apparent from that article.

1) Canada is in a demographic death-spiral and will eventually be browned out of existence. Much the better for us when future Canadian Prime Minister Akbar Mohammed is forced to ship all the natural resources to the US in exchange for food to feed all those hungry, unproductive mouths. Looking forward to the day when I can travel to the 51st state of British Columbia purchased directly from the Islamic Republic of Canada in exchange for nine bags of flour, a string of seashell beads and three iron hatchets.

and B) Your rotten politicians are ****ing bush league. "Talking on the phone" for christs sake?

"Don't ever do business on the phone" is literally Rule #1. That retarded schmuck wouldn't make associate shoe-shine boy in Chicago politics.

Great point, Wang.

I'll remember that when Strat wonders what the Republican response would be to W's overspending.

I used to pay attention to it--as if bush or obama had much say in the lion's share of the spending that happens at the federal level. it's a joke. the 'untouchable' portion of the budget is outrageously huge, so the outrage is really about how the economy is doing. and good luck ever proving that this or that president was responsible for the economic events that happened under them.

Sorry. I thought you were making that argument yourself, because so far as I can tell you sympathize with Republicans, for the most part.

I'm certainly conservative on most issues, but I hate the Republicans. They're dead to me.

  • I think people should be allowed to own guns.
  • I think people should go to jail for breaking the law. (regardless of "overpopulation" or whatever)
  • I think police corruption is awful and basically the entire police force in Chicago should be in jail.
  • I think monopolies are the worst possible thing in a free market system and should be destroyed immediately.
  • I think capitalism is a decent way to control greed, as socialism collects all the money to only the pinnacle of the pyramid.
  • I think homosexuality is a sin, but isn't any worse than any other sin, and that the Bible explictly states at the end of I Corinthians 5, that I shouldn't care if it's a non-Christian that's practicing it. Henceforth, I think gay marriage should be allowed.
  • I think the best person should always get accepted or get the job regardless of race.
  • I think that there is zero difference between a baby in the womb on Tuesday and a baby in the arms of a mom on Wednesday. As such, I think abortion is straight murder for convenience and should be outlawed. The person inside a womb should have the same rights as a person outside the womb. If we found a fetus on another planet, we wouldn't dismiss it's beating heart as a blob of goo. We would say it's life, and that's because it is.
  • I think that the healthcare system should be fixed, but I'm not sure there's a good solution that doesn't include lots of taxes and lots of freeloaders.
  • I think there should be term limits on every members of congress. (8 terms max for the house, 3 terms for the senate)
  • I think all farm subsidies should end immediately.
  • I think all foods should have a QR code with the origin and contents of the food.
  • I think conservation and environmentalism are generally good, and should supersede most business related decisions in regards to things like pollution.
  • I don't think scientists know how much impact man is really making in regards to global warming, but I absolutely think that we should be pushing nuclear power, electric cars, and other things that clearly won't hurt the planet. (I love electric cars. If they were practical, I would defintiely already have one. I almost bought a Focus Electric just recently, but couldn't pull the trigger with the 75 mile range and 13 hour charge time)
  • I think NASA's budget should be massive.
  • I think our military budget should be shifted greatly toward research and development and that our army size should be greatly reduced. The wars of the future won't require troops.

That's it for now.

HIGH FIVE FOR SAME TEAM!

We are in disagreement on a few issues, but not many. Neither of us would be welcome at a Tea Party rally, that's for sure.

HIGH FIVE FOR SAME TEAM!

We are in disagreement on a few issues, but not many. Neither of us would be welcome at a Tea Party rally, that's for sure.

I'm a huge fan of individual rights, small federal govt, fiscal responsibility, strong national defense, and even a supporter of the 2nd Amendment.

With this resume they would welcome you with open arms.

I like that QR code idea.

I don't have a phone but if I did, it would probably be one of those new smart phones and I imagine it would have some sort of functionality on there that would allow me to scan QR codes. In this alternate universe, I would definitely scan the code of pretty much every food I bought.

Voting must be a helluva issue with you. But you are still 90% republican issue orientated.

One of the more obnoxious byproducts of the 27/7 news media are the drastically understated 'early reports' from huge disasters that are way, way, way in advance of any sort of assessment being done.

It was that way with the Indian Ocean Tsunami, the Jap Tsunami.

I remember after Hurricane Katrina came ashore, everyone knew it was going to be devastating. This idiot reporter stationed just north of Biloxi talking about how the storm had passed and it 'looked like we got out of this one without much damage'. Drive 10 minutes south of where he was standing, it was as though a nuke had gone off, there were still people buried in the rubble, etc.

They're reporting it as "may be as high as 10,000"?

Wrong.

The over/under is set at 25,000.

That video IS very telling.

It illuminates the break point when young children, who are impeccably honest and thus, naturally confused and appalled by homosexuality, become older children who start mindlessly parroting the ideological agenda that's been rammed down their throats. It's also conducted in California so you may as well consider it as neutral as an exit poll conducted by standing outside a commercial bathhouse.

It's in that Michael Moore'ish family of pseudo-documentary where it documents real people and real opinions and real things, but compiles them in such a way that it serves a specific agenda.

Go ask 100 thirteen year olds in Chicago Public Schools what they think of homosexuals.

It's probably the only thing where there's no discernible difference between black, white and hispanic.

Ask a 13-year old to explain gravity or nuclear physics. Just because they don't understand doesn't make it true. People have been having homosexual sex since the beginning of time, it is a natural thing that some people have an inborn disposition to.

The idea that children, especially 13-year olds knowing they are being recorded, are honest is hilarious.

http://www.miamiherald.com/2013/11/21/v-fullstory/3769823/in-miami-gardens-store-video-catches.html

Miami Gardens police have arrested Sampson 62 times for one offense: trespassing.

Almost every citation was issued at the same place: the 207 Quickstop, a convenience store on 207th Street in Miami Gardens.

But Sampson isn’t loitering. He works as a clerk at the Quickstop.

Where in the human genome does homosexual behavior come from?

My human Sexuality professor at school, J Michael Bailey ( you'd have loved him, Lee Willerman, eugenics advocate, was his adviser/mentor), argued that homosexual sexual preferences were a product of in utero hormonal environments, where if certain hormones were withheld or introduced at the "wrong" time, it would feminize the male brain (or masulinize the female brain) and brains that exhibited such femiinzation had a strong correlation toward later homosexual preferences.

Bailey is a controversial figure, no question, but I found his class fascinating.

I wonder if the gay community will turn enmasse to pro life if homosexuality gene can be isolated in utero. And gay babies start being terminated.
