AgentKdoubleO 0
It is where you reside, but for the majority of the US you are allowed to gamble when you are 18. People have the perception that it is 21. Casinos such as the Taj or Borgata ect. can only allow 21 year olds to play because liquor is served at their casinos and it is US law that if a place serves alcohol ie a bar you must be 21 to enter. Turning Stone Casino is a dry casino in upstate NY and since there's no alcohol it is 18 to play there. Therefore, online poker is legal to those over 18 unless otherwise stated by your specific juristiction.K Double O
theives 0
haha, you're so full of crapim a good player, i make 1-2 k a week playing 2/4 nl when im on a good run, but it's impossible to keep up that kind of profit margin over a long period.
21gambit 0
What the freak is wrong with all of these people? Jealous much? Youre doing well, keep it up. I find your winnings completely plausible. I made 750 playing .5-1 NL last week, at those stakes making that kind of win isnt completely asounding, 1 buyin a day. BTW, how much did you have in your bank when you started playing "400" NL? I assume thats 2-4?

21gambit 0
yeah, I know the rule is 1500 big blinds or 15 buyins, but Im just curious what he started with.
indianachris 0
I call bs on all this. I used to think I was hot shit when I was making 400 a week playing small tourneys every night but then I dead end and realized I could not handle the swings. You might post how well you are doing but will you tell us when you lose?

You might post how well you are doing but will you tell us when you lose?Wow, the rare triple post Chris. :-) Anyway, does the OP remind anyone else of Barry Greenstein? You know, in the sense that he seems to record only his winnings and never his losses? It's cool, I win every time I play too. (sw)

He said himself it went down because he's been playing tournaments, so even if he did make it for some weeks, he's not pulling it down as he implied. He did say all comments are appreciated. I know it was a huge risk but it ended up working out. I had a rush the very beginning and was able to take some bad beats later on because of it.Also yes I know I haven't pulled in 1-2k a week at all lately. That's because I havent played cash games all that much. Maybe 5 hours a week for the past few weeks because I've focused on tourneys more. But this summer In a couple weeks I will get back to hardcore cash games and then you'll see. I'll post back my PP ID later on too when the time comes.
Rocketwadster 0
What a load of crap that blog was. I didn't bother to scroll back to find out how you got up over 20K, but from what I read on that first page that popped up, WHATEVER!!!

joshrogo 0
it's amazing .. everone is a consistent winner .. the original poster 1-2k per week .. and all along the thread, people win at low limits, high limits, no limit ..so, my question is ..where are the people who lose? bascomeb 0
the people who are calling me a punk....anyway I'm just wondering how the lifestyle is of a poker player as his only source of income?does it seem depressing? shallow? empty? lazy?or is it great not to have a boss and that overshadows everything else? Every boxer you see on TV has a winning record. How can that possibly be - because they beat a bunch of mamalukes who nobody has heard of.

You definitely seem depressed and shallow. Its funny cause I never claimed to winning thousands online. I play to win money as well but I win hundreds not thousands. Once again you are a young punk and I can't wait til you blow your "30K".
bascomeb 0
haha so your saying that I can't claim to have one thousands when i have??seriously you have issues dude. Sorry you can't make that leap into making thousands
krup24 0
I'm just saying your blog doesn't convey the facts that you achieved a bankroll of 30K. I would love to win thousands but I can't afford the risk. I know how to manage my bankroll. I can only pray to the heavens that you don't know how to manage yours punk.
bascomeb 0
i do know how to manage my bankroll. Thats why i haven't moved up to 600 nl or 1000 nl. Because I DO KNOW HOW TO MANAGE. i think 29k is plenty to support playing 400 NL
