CaneBrain 95
Unless Dallas is raining 3's all series long, I don't see how they SWEEP the Lakers.
SuitedAces21 2,723
what i like about the rockets is their commitment to shitting coaching.
Poppy_Hillis 11
Please Dallas. What is their motto, The Time is Now?
Poppy_Hillis 11
This is like watching the US Olympic team against a European team, only with NBA talent on both sides.
BigDMcGee 3,355
Was a great game, till miami broke their will at the end.
CaneBrain 95
Was a great game, till miami broke their will at the end.Miami's defense was just absurd at times. Lebron made Jason Terry completely disappear in the 2nd half. And Dallas shot 6 more FTs than Miami on the road! Maybe I will get to enjoy a Heat victory without ref complaints (I doubt it). brvheart 1,759
I love how at basically every arena in the league the entire crowd is wearing the same shirts lately. Is that a recent development? It makes the games feel a lot more like college games, and really really like it. I might actually watch more NBA next season.
Poppy_Hillis 11
Dallas can't play man in this series. Dallas can't play Barea and Terry at the same time. Dallas can't play Peja if they expect to make stops. Dallas can't play Haywood when Dirk is on the floor. Dallas has to win the 3-pt battle by a lot to have a chance.I don't like where this is headed.
kers2 0
LeBron took that off balance fallaway at the end of the 3rd quarter just to fuck with the Mavs heads. If he misses, no big deal. But he makes it and its an absolute dagger
CaneBrain 95
Dirk tore a tendon in his left hand. Bad night all around for the Mavs....
brvheart 1,759
At least everyone has an excuse now. Everyone can happily give LeBron no credit. DIRK WAS HURT!
Skeleton Jelly 2
This is like watching the US Olympic team against a European team, only with NBA talent on both sides.Even if the end result was basically the same, watching Dallas's offense is soooooo much more fun than watching Chicago's offense. Was a great game, till miami broke their will at the end.lolI don't like where this is headed.I was trying to decide if I liked Miami in 4 or 5 before this game. I actually felt better about Dallas afterwards. Now I'm vacillating between 5 or 6.Dirk tore a tendon in his left hand. Bad night all around for the Mavs....Seriously? So 4 it is.Edit: Oh, left hand. I don't think that's a big deal.
CaneBrain 95
Edit: Oh, left hand. I don't think that's a big deal.Nah, probably not. Won't help though. I don't think Dallas will score under 85 again this series but I think Miami has a few 100+ games coming too. Dallas really needs Game 2 badly.
Skeleton Jelly 2
I felt like Dallas missed a bunch of shots they have been making these playoffs, but I also felt like Miami chased them off a bunch of shots too. I think Dallas will be better, but not a lot better. But the game was a lot closer than the final score indicates.Re: officiating. Javie and Kennedy are two officials who don't get swayed by home crowds. They might even be a little road team biased. So that didn't surprise me. Lebron is just in total beast mode. There is nothing he isn't doing well. I wonder if the media will try to screw him out of this MVP too.Oh, and Miami got a ton of those loose ball, 50/50 rebounds. If Dallas can get a few more of those, it could make a big difference.

Skeleton Jelly 2
Haralabos Voulgaris is fun to follow during the games. I'd love to see his database of information on the NBA.
Poppy_Hillis 11
Haralabos Voulgaris is fun to follow during the games. I'd love to see his database of information on the NBA.I think he's annoying a lot of the time. If a team doesn't go 2 for 1, even if they try to but a play doesn't develop, he says the coach is an idiot. He thinks it's really easy for the players to do whatever they want out there, and I don't think he realizes that most of these coaches tell the players what the right thing to do is, but they don't or can't do it.Also, I'm a bit jealous of his life. Except for his house...what a pretentious cold setting that thing is.
Poppy_Hillis 11
I haven't liked Shaq for about 7 years now, but now that he's done it's easy to remember all the good Laker days. Hoping he joins TNT.
