DJ Vu 176
to restrict blood flow and thereby reduce swelling. come on son.Well that makes sense.Heat look like garbage right now. I don't understand how this happens to this team so often.Edit: Lebron, please stop this.Haha: netw3rk @netw3rkLebron was limping until he started to yell at the ref at which point he became Keyser Soze walking away from the police station. YonYonson 156
Heat look like garbage right now. I don't understand how this happens to this team so often.they need to let my man super mario run this thing.edit: dammit lebron.
CaneBrain 95
Heat look like garbage right now. I don't understand how this happens to this team so often. When they don't make any 3s, the offense bogs down sometimes. They played horribly and are only down 4. No big deal.
CaneBrain 95
Chalmers hit some 3s, Wade got hot then Lebron got hot and somehow Miami wins by 17. What a nice relaxing first round so far for my blood pressure.

DJ Vu 176
Javale McGee, man.**** Bynum. The silver lining I guess is that if the Lakers can win in Denver, they'll have World Peace back for game 1 against OKC. Who will probably sweep them anyway, so whatever. Stupid Lakers. The Eastern Conference is a joke aside from the Heat. That Bulls-Sixers halftime score was ridiculous. The Spurs are playing crazy good. I would make them a slight favorite against the Heat if they played next round. I might knee-jerk away from this opinion by the time they (possibly) meet in the finals.Edit: So I guess I don't know how to swear anymore. Oh well.

DJ Vu 176
This was in the notes at the end of the column about the Lakers-Nuggets game 6:Earlier Thursday, Nuggets reserve C Chris "Birdman" Andersen was excused indefinitely from all team-related activities after Douglas County sheriff's deputies searched his home as part of an investigation by the department's Internet Crimes Against Children unit. Also, the Lakers suck. Is it too late to trade Bynum for Howard? I don't care that his back is broken.

DJ Vu 176
Earlier Thursday, Nuggets reserve C Chris "Birdman" Andersen was excused indefinitely from all team-related activities after Douglas County sheriff's deputies searched his home as part of an investigation by the department's Internet Crimes Against Children unit. New stuff"A female fan in 2010 mailed Mr. Andersen multiple letters and included several photos in which she was scantily clad. Chris and this woman communicated with each other and in 2011, this woman, who represented herself as 21 years of age, flew to Colorado, showing her required identification. After leaving Colorado, she became upset at his lack of interest. In 2012, she threatened to retaliate if he did not provide financial remuneration. "According to the statement, someone purporting to be the woman's mother wrote in an email that " 'i (sic) want him to pay for everything on her Amazon wish list, 5K for her bedding stuff and her victoria secret wish list." timwakefield 68
Lebron is a great player. He's also a flopping ********** and the fact that the refs fall for it every time is making the game a joke. He's 6'8" and 280 of rock solid muscle, I wish the refs would just laugh at his flopping instead of rewarding it.Holy shit those are really embarrassing for him. Especially the 2nd one - just the way he tosses his arms up in the air and pretends to lose his balance is completely silly and extremely not-tough. "Arrr I'm Lebron James (and apparently a pirate? I dunno, whatever)! I'm big and tough and great at basketball and I will dunk this shit in your face and laugh about it, but I am very prone to whiplash and have inner-ear problems so if you push me a little bit I'll fall over like a weak child. Unrelated: I also watch a lot of soccer." That's my impression of him. P.S. Woo Celtics!
DJ Vu 176
Here's that second gif, but with some racism too:Last year:
timwakefield 68
Wow, that's either the worst flop I've ever seen outside of soccer, or he actually punched himself in the chin with the basketball for no discernible reason and it gave him a booboo. Man I hope the Celtics play the Heat (with the obvious footnote that we'll beat them...). I'm not confident we can even beat the Sixers though.
CaneBrain 95
Lebron wins his third MVP.
DJ Vu 176
If he can get a title and a Finals MVP this year, it will go down as one of the best seasons ever. Still a flopper though.
DJ Vu 176
This Bosh injury certainly makes things interesting. I actually think the Heat would be better off losing Wade than Bosh. I like this Indiana team a lot, but I'm not sure if this is enough to swing things. If the over/under on "LA teams 2nd round wins" was 2.5, I'd take the under. These playoffs are definitely going to be remembered as the injury playoffs. This:
FCP Bob 1,312
I don't like Blake Griffin very much but I gained a lot of respect for him that last game. He played hard and took a lot of shots and didn't do his usual I think I'm a Superstar and shouldn't be touched whine and he didn't do any flopping.
DJ Vu 176
I didn't get to watch all of game 7, but it was definitely a physical series. Reggie Evans is the worst though; can't stand that guy. Chris Paul is highly unlikeable too. Which is sad because I love watching him play.Considering all the off-season talk about player movement from small markets to major markets, it would be pretty funny if the NBA Finals had something like SA vs. Indy, while the hard cap NHL could have LA vs NY. (Although I don't think LA is a destination spot for NHL free agents like it is for the NBA. Or at all really.)
CaneBrain 95
This Bosh injury certainly makes things interesting. I actually think the Heat would be better off losing Wade than Bosh. I like this Indiana team a lot, but I'm not sure if this is enough to swing things. They would be better off against some teams losing Wade and Indiana is one of them. I still like the Heat to win the series in 6 or less. Indiana can't score on Miami in crunch time. To beat Boston, they might need Bosh back (although Boston is nowhere near 100% either). Sucks.I'll go:Heat in 5.Boston in 7.Thunder in 5.Spurs in 5.
Poppy_Hillis 11
If the over/under on "LA teams 2nd round wins" was 2.5, I'd take the under.I agree.I think '06 Kobe makes it an even series. If they had '06 Kobe and '15 Bynum only then would they be a favorite.
