brvheart 1,752
you want to impose your religious morals on people. you want to stop scientific progress for the sake of your religion. like i wrote in my post. you pretend to be for freedom, but only when it suits you. if you believe the use of force is wrong, you have to apply it to all aspects of life, not just economics, and you have to know WHY the use of force is wrong (hint: its not because of the ten commandments). this is the downfall of libertarianism: its an incomplete, floating political philosophy. thats why you have everything from anarchists to religious slaves supporting it.You have absolutely no idea what you're talking about. JOhnWaters 0
You have absolutely no idea what you're talking about.you are a republican. you probably supported bush who put a temporary hold on stem cell research. thats what im talking about. you are for selective freedom just like everyone else. im for the second option. I'd say it would be a miniscule portion of the voting public. And even though Brvhrt and I clash on a great number of issues, I've never felt he was that slavishly devoted to GW or the Republican platform. I assume you're a Democrat who unquestioningly supports everything in the Democratic platform and everything that Obama does. Is that a fair assumption on my part? If not then take a step back and stop making assumptions about everyone else here.Edit: If you do then you're a friggin' idiot and can go crawl back in your troll hole. I MEEEEEEAN.... hey! that johnwaters is a LOSER!but yeah, can people please stop responding to that guy? it'd be nice to keep the discussion on the topic not how apparently brvheart now wants to make being amish a law or something.so does anyone have quick access the bill? I'm gonna print out the epa report at work today (HAHA, SCREW YOU ENVIRONMENT) and I would like to compare the two. (as a side note, the in the little that I read last night, there were a LOT of assumptions being made early on and I sure hope they qualified how they made those assumptions.) hblask 1
Yeah I don't see how you are getting these numbers. We're talking about reducing the world's man-made C02 output by 18%.Which is what percent of the world's total CO2? And what percent of total greenhouse gases? (Methane is far worse than CO2).EDIT: I see this has been addressed... nvm
