i kind of wanted to write something excessive and long in this thread until about four pages ago, but now all i want to do is give bullet points.-steve doesn't give a **** about the money he receives from teaching. making 3k or whatever it is in 6 months isn't really that valuable to someone who makes somewhere around 50 bucks every hand of poker he plays. he charges money to make his students take the course seriously, and that's important.-the challenge threads are the shit. except the nlhe challenge thread, which has significantly inferior fashion advice as compared to, say, its lhe counterpart.-it's unfortunate that a lot of talented players have stopped posting here, but that doesn't mean that fcp has gone to shit, since a lot of other posters here have improved significantly. as someone that plays non-he games fairly regularly, i find it worth saying that a lot of the advice for those games is far better here than on 2+2, where half the high stakes posters in most of those games don't have a clue wtf they're talking about. this may or may not be true in nlhe/lhe over there, as i don't read those areas that often, except to spy on regs that i play against.-the internet is generally not worth getting riled up about, unless you were looking for kiddie porn and misclicked your way into some bestiality.
