Some of us come in, book a bet or two, then don't check back until the games are over. I would be pissed if I thought I had a bet and then came back and didn't. It's totally fine posting a bet and then taking it back as long as no one has taken it, but once someone books it then it's considered booked. We should think of the thread as a sportsbook (but more lenient). I'm sure if he would have PMed or talked to speedkills about cancelling the bet before the game and speed was okay with it then that's fine. However, cancelling a bet after it's booked and not giving any reasons or contacting the other person about it is ridiculous. It doesn't help that ship doesn't even see how he's wrong. When someone replies taking that action, the action is booked. A bookie cannot then cancel the bet for no reason (i.e. starting pitcher change, game cancellation, etc.) or that bookie is not credible.I get what you are saying ship, that the game hadn't even been close to kicking off yet, etc. but by posting in here you are basically becoming a bookie, and if someone quotes you and takes the action, that action is live.Why do I keep giving the man juice rather than joining in here. I remember when people used to have to ship the money first, before the game started, if whoever posted the bet was unsure about them. I did not say "quote and consider it booked" I said what i was looking for. I have never made a bet with speed so why am i not allowed to not take his bet?
