Shark527 0
I havn't seen Kirk Morrison mentioned anywhere. He had 5 cashes last year in big fields.Anyone besides me pick Hellmuth? I havn't seen him on anyone's list either.
fighter 4
Is that your team or just a reference of standard picks? as you could have just quoted DN, thats his exact short listReference to DN's picks being the standard. Not my team, I dont want to split first with 7 others.I havn't seen Kirk Morrison mentioned anywhere. He had 5 cashes last year in big fields.Anyone besides me pick Hellmuth? I havn't seen him on anyone's list either.Lots would pick Hellmuth but considering he has 11 NL HOLDEM braslets and this being mixed games his selection is a suckers choice. king_tanner 84
I got:Freddy DeebDNBarry GreensteinErik SeidelAndy BlochHuck SeedTom DwanTed ForrestNick SchulmanErick LindgrenI think Schulman might be an unconventional pick. I have noticed he has been playing high stakes a lot on FTP, and I think he will play in a lot of the higher events.Huck might be also, I know he plays the non-holdem games, but will he play all those events?I was also thinking of Robert Williamson III because of his omaha results, but I'm not sure if he plays anything else. HskrNation954 0
I've noticed Paul Wasicka lately expanding his game. I also chose Allen Cunningham and Anndy Bloch as non-conventional picks.

FHgrad99 0
Here is who I picked:-Daniel Negreanu-Phil Hellmuth-Phil Ivey-Doyle Brunson-Erik Seidel-Allen Cunningham-John Juanda-Chris "Jesus" Ferguson-Erick Lindgren-He's due-Greg Raymer-He's done well in Stud Events since his WSOP win. He's not nearly as one-dimensional as the other recent WSOP Main Event winners seem to be.
SlapStick 0
I really don't know why people would point out little gems like David Singer etc before the draft is locked up, already 2 of my non-standard picks have been outed .I went with the hardly anyone else will have them strategy, so I have 6 standardish and 4 not so obvious, hopefully my other 2 will stand a chance
potatoman 0
Raymer's a great pick I didn't take.
imphic 0
On one hand I agree if someone thought of a great pick it benefits him/her to not tell everyone, on the other hand its a no stack game, so sharing at this forum is no surprise. If we were taking it seriously, I would try to give out bad pick ideas of accomplished players who will probably not be in the WSOP events, such as Chip Reese (RIP).

potatoman 0
I think most people entering this draft can be divided into two pools. Those who checked who final tabled in the last two $50K horse events and those that didn't. Giving up a couple of names isn't going to matter much with this format. If a couple more people take David Singer, whatever. They only get ten picks, which means they'll have to drop someone equally as good.I could name off at least ten lesser knowns that would easily be on pair with Singer or better. A couple, like Bill Edler and the Grinder have already been mentioned. With a bit of research, I'm sure I could name off another 30 players.I'd advise people to pick players they enjoy cheering for. This draft, while enjoyable and appreciated, is too simplistic to worry your head over it too much.

Swiftfish 0
Really should've thought of Michael Binger. Marco Traniello's also a decent idea given his amount of cashes. Ah well, bit late now! I'm one of the suckers who's picked Phil Hellmuth. He might have won all his bracelets in hold 'em but he has like, 13 final tables in other events. I actually don't think he's as much of a one trick pony as people make him out to be.I went for the usuals plus a few wildcards who I think might do well. Kirk Morrison's already been mentioned but I'm surprised no-one else (that I've seen) has said Kenny Tran yet. I've taken a risk as well with a couple of hold 'em guys who just might branch out into other events this year.

The guy really sucks in mixed games, and considering the list of games, he's probably not a good choice imo.
