Dirtydutch 8
Isn't Jimmy Fallon like weirdly studdery, illspoken and shy-seeming; and wasn't MTV trying to convince us he was like really funny and hip for a while, years and years age, but even 8th-graders weren't buying it, so no one has really seen him since Fever Pitch, and before that since Taxi? Seems like a pretty horrific choice, but what do I know about producing late-night talk television; my expertise remains the theater. Step-two-three-four, jazzhands-two-three-four... Dirtydutch 8
Whos going to replace Jimmy Fallon?Andy Samberg should fill that void of popular cast member with an unrealistic understanding of his own prospects quite nicely. In fact, he's well on his overly ambitious way. Though an argument could be made for Horatio Sanz. Not a good one, though.

Step-two-three-four, jazzhands-two-three-four...Well, I remember when Conan first came on, and no one had ever heard of him, and everyone thought NBC was kinda crazy for having him succeed letterman And at first he was terrible. Really, really bad. The difference between Conan and Fallon, though, is O'Brian has talent, and he grew into the role. I think Fallon's gonna go the way of Chevy Chase. Conan was an unknown (to anyone who wasn't an obsessive Simpsons fan) with lots of talent, and Fallon is a famous comedian with little talent.

Dirtydutch 8
IE Chevy ChaseI've always half-liked CC. Did he ever do standup? I'll bet it wouldn't be memorable.

I'll bet it wouldn't be memorable.I don't know, but he did literally the worst talk show ever made. Pretty much, as soon as he went to re-hab in the early 80's, he started to suck royally. I do really like he's early stuff, like Fletch, the first vacation and Caddyshack. The rest of his catalog is.. um.. we'll say spotty, to be kind.
LongLiveYorke 38
It should be both Jimmy Fallon and Horatio Sanz. They could just do impressions of Gene Shalit every night for an hour. I'd watch that.
ShakeZuma 585
girls I used to hang out with said I looked and acted like Jimmy Fallon. nobody else I know really agreed with them at all, but even so, I now have a soft spot for him. even though he isn't really funny. Dirtydutch 8
Horatio Sanz's two separate appearances in this thread have got to be the most buzz he's had since before that screener for Boat Trip went out. I'll bet his agent is going nuts.
