First of all I'd gladly race headsup for the win. Headsup is a very small part of poker and I do not like playing it. This is why I'm willing to race for stacks. Also, any pocket pair is a strong starting hand headsup, you're just a bitter prick who probably loses every race he's in.

small part of poker? are u kiddng? its only where u make the biggest money jump if u TID.... thats all. i dont play sngs (or mtts) to get hu and try to "race for stacks". you might as well play roulette and bet on black. with 10 bbs or less this is ok imo.. but for 30? allllllrighty then.

Well how often are people gonna be in a headsup situation in MTT's??? I've made 3 final tables in my first year of playing, and the only time I made it headsup I took it down. I have a good idea of how to play headsup, its not my strong point though. Most of the time it turns into a shove fest at the final table anyways. Just cause you make bad plays once in awhile doesn't make you a bad player. Getting your money in a 55/45 race isnt even bad (not to sound results oriented just in general).

I'll admit I don't play much Omaha, but how do you not get raised on the river? The only hand's that the other guy loses to is 99, 33 and AA. I thought with the Bet, Raise, Call on the Turn he would have gone for the check/raise on the river. But he saved himself $1.

He's one of the "good" players I generally stay away from.I know, I was amazed he lost the min.. he said he put me on AA because of my PF raise and my aggro betting.Plus.. he *had* a 9, so it was AA/33 or nothing. He had been snakebit the last two hours, though. That was a factor.But factor in the blind vs. blind battle setting, and you know why I *deeply* respect him.
