Acesgotcracked 0
Dollars to Donuts says the average club player in Dallas beats the brakes off the average player sitting in Vegas games right now. Competition in Dallas clubs is very strong, not saying everyone is Amarillo Slim reborn but that the average player is competent and wont call big bets with middle pair. JFarrell20 1
I just moved to Dallas..... where are these cardrooms that you guys speak of?In Louisiana.
justblaze 0
There's a few good ones that are semi-legal in Houston.www.bigslicks.comI went and checked out the link. Seems alright, but I have to wonder how long it will be before they shut that place down. Not that I really care, but the cops have shut down places like this before. Basically they're trying to exploit what they think is a loop hole in the law. Not sure what happens to you if you happen to in there when they bust it.To answer the question of the original poster, the closest casinos to Houston are in Louisiana. There is a Harrahs in Lak Charles, but its about a 2 hour drive. The action is better at the Harrahs in New Orleans.the cops steal all the money in your wallet and go get drunk. ask the guys in new jersey.
JacKingOff_suit 0
I just moved to Dallas..... where are these cardrooms that you guys speak of?You can drive to the border of Oklahoma on Hwy 35 (it's about an hour). I heard a casino (winstar? not sure) is openning up poker room there, you can do some research. Or you can drive 3 hours to Shreveport which offers you more casinos. There are also some home games in Dallas, Richardson or some other areas. Have fun!
