Poppy_Hillis 11
Anyone see the Suns Rockets game last night? I love to see possible future or present title contending teams learn how to win and start believing in themselves for the first time, and this could be one of those wins for the Rockets. Also, it's too bad Sarver won't pay the luxury tax because the Suns need to get a big man or they're not doing anything in the playoffs.
tskillz187 0
Am I the only one that wants the Grizzlies to be good? I feel like they should be winning and they just don't.Looks like a break out year for Rudy Gay.
Jadaki 0
Good games on tonight.Boston/Detroit was solid all the way through, and it showed that Boston hasn't been in enough late game situations yet.Dallas is off to a good start against Phoenix.
Jadaki 0
Boston crushed the first opponent of their west coast trip, Spurs looked good without Ginobili, and the Pistons keep on winning. Are two of the top 3 teams really in the east this year?

Really, if you look at the last two years.....the Pistons hit a wall semi-deep into the playoffs. They were awful against the Heat in 2006 and then they crapped the bed against a fundamentally flawed Cavs team last year. It is remarkable that they have been so consistent and had so few injuries....but the downside is they have a bunch of guys who have played approx. 100 games a year for the last 5 years or so.thats a lot of mileage....I expect Detroit to play Boston in the conference finals and get blown off the court. You should see their shooting percentages in the Heat and Cavs series....their legs are clearly gone.

They seem a little deeper than the last two years. I wonder how their starter minutes compare to the last few years.

I wonder hwo their starter minutes compare to the last few years.there is some truth to this. I am a big fan of Maxiell and I think Afflalo shows real promise.if they are not limiting their starters' minutes this year then they are crazyedit: every starter is playing between 30-35 mins a game. Not bad. I am not sure if that is less than last year though......all those playoff runs add up. (this is partly why I think Kobe will hit a wall sooner than people think.....basketball is an incredibly rough game on the back/knees/ankles.)
Jadaki 0
there is some truth to this. I am a big fan of Maxiell and I think Amir Johnson shows real promise.Yea, the guy comes to play hard all the time... have to respect that.
CaneBrain 95
Yea, the guy comes to play hard all the time... have to respect that. just note I changed Amir Johnson to Aaron Afflalo......I like Amir but he doesnt play much and I think Afflalo has real potential (and he gets a ton more run).also note I put up the minutes numbers for the Detroit starters.....but I am not positive that those numbers are lower than last year or the year before that. Jadaki 0
also note I put up the minutes numbers for the Detroit starters.....but I am not positive that those numbers are lower than last year or the year before that. That's not much different than the Spurs.
CaneBrain 95
That's not much different than the Spurs.yeah....but for some reason they dont get affected like the Pistons do. frankly, i think the spurs players are all secretly half man, half robot.I dont just mention this about the Pistons based on conjecture/theory/logic......i watched every game of their last 2 Conference Finals series and they seemed lethargic and jumpers kept hitting the front rim. I guess it could just be coincidence but I dont think so.

Jadaki 0
Nuggets drop 168 in regulation. How sick is that, they have guys I never heard of putting up 14-17 points.
